y/n woke up on thursday feeling tired. It was 10 pm, so seemingly he slept for 11 hours. After dressing up in his plain Orange shirt and sweatpants, He found a sticky note on the fridge. It read:

Hey y/n, I'm going back to Octo Canyon again, I'm going to do missions until I can't.

Have a good day doing whatever you do in your free time

                - Nate

How long he could last after staying up like that last night was the immediate question that came to mind, but he didn't have any proof that he had fallen over in the street, so he didn't worry about it.

The first thing y/n did when he got to the Square was visit Ammo Knights. He brought the briefcase with him, and also bought some new clothes to go with the briefcase. It was a black suit and tie, with a white dress shirt and a velvet red tie, clipped to the shirt. He also had black gloves. The combination made him feel like he had something secret to do, that no one else could know about. And made him feel like a professional, at... something. He walked into Ammo Knights.

Sheldon: Hey, Hey! It's the human again! I-

y/n: Sheldon sent me.

Sheldon looked surprised at that statement.

Sheldon: You're part of the Ne-

y/n: Keep quiet, someone could be listening.

Sheldon. I knew there was 4 and 0... You must be-

y/n: Yes.

Sheldon: But the Cap'n is 0... He started it.

y/n: Then what am I?

He couldn't be 5, because the traditional numbers were reserved for inklings. He didn't exactly want to be called Snake anymore, but he looked down at himself. Perfect. He tried to convince Him of his new number.

Sheldon: What about Agent A?

y/n: Call me Agen- you know what, fine. I'd probably have to check it over with Marie first, too.

Sheldon: So, what brought you here today, Mr...

y/n: n/n. And, I wanted to test out some inkling weapons, and these human weapons I have here in this case. I only have one right now, though. Hopefully the other is somewhere close.

Sheldon: Alrighty then! Well, which one do you want to test?

================================================================================

y/n tried out a variety of weapons. The roller was too clunky, and he could swing at the same speed inklings did, so that wasn't what he wanted. Same with the Inkbrush. He tried out the splattershot jr., which he wanted a second one of, but Sheldon wouldn't let him use two at once. He didn't even look at the brellas, or the sloshers. He could handle a splatling very well because of his strength, but didn't like how it fired once you released the trigger. The Dualies were fairly decent, giving him an extremely acrobatic rolling ability due to powers unbeknownst to man. The charger sort of... existed, it wasn't the best or the worst, but y/n preferred close combat. He used the aerospray and liked it. The normal splattershot was by far his favorite, for the precision accuracy compared to the other ink launchers. The blaster, also, existed.

y/n: Sheldon, I like these weapons, but why can't I hold two of them?

Sheldon: Use the dualies!

Sheldon was behind a large bulletproof (i hope) glass window, observing y/n using the weapons, taking note of how he uses them and giving him specific variations of each to try.
