About: This show is based on the Mortal Instruments Series by Casandra Clare. It's about a group of warriors descended from angels called Shadowhunters. Their job is to protect ordinary humans from demons and other inter-dimensional threats. Besides Shadowhunters, there are also warlocks, vampires, werewolves, and Seelies. Two of the main characters are gay/bisexual and in a relationship, and there are also two adorable lesbian couples and an asexual character.
My thoughts: Aaaaahhhhh! I love this show so, so, so, much! From the very first season, I related to Alec, one of the main characters, not just because he is gay but also because we have similar personalities. (He also used to be in love with his best friend, which I sadly understand, but that's a story for another day...) Anyway, Alec and his boyfriend Magnus are easily given the most screen time out of all the couples in the show—both gay and straight—which is absolutely amazing. Also, their first kiss scene is literally my favorite scene of any show or movie of all time!
