About: This book is told in the perspectives of Brooks and Hale. Brooks is a nerd who is content with his two best friends while Hale is a jock who is constantly surrounded by other people. But when they meet and quickly become friends, it's obvious that there's something between them. The only problem is that Hale's friends are very homophobic. And Brooks's best friend, Calla, has a crush on Hale. So they have to worry about that too.
My thoughts: This book is definitely cliche, but it's still worth a read. The characters are insanely well-devolved, the plot is surprisingly interesting, and it's just a fun read overall. I felt as though my personality was a mix between Brooks's and Hale's so I was able to relate to both of them. Also, the casting is amazing (Tom Holland as Brooks and Noah Centineo as Hale) and the author includes cute little gifs at the beginning of all the chapters. I love this book and I have no doubt that you will too.
