About: This book is about Amanda, who moves to live with her dad so that she can get away from all of the transphobia in her hometown and start over. She immediately makes friends and for the first time, feels like she belongs. But when Amanda gets to know Grant, everything changes. They start dating, and while she feels like she owes it to him to tell him the truth about her past, she's also worried he'll reject her. Amanda must figure out if she wants to do what's easy or what's right when her own safety and happiness are on the line.

My thoughts: I love this book so much! I actually read it a while ago—before I started questioning my sexuality—because my cousin had come out as trans and I wanted to better understand exactly what she was going through. This book was as amazing as it was educating. I think that everyone—even if they're not in the LGBTQ+ community—should definitely read it, as it helps you to understand difficult situations and things like dysphoria. Please, please, please read this book!
