the car ride was silent. there wasn't even music playing.
when they get to the house Allie just stayed in the car while Mattia got out, he was obviously excited, when she was exhausted.
"you good?" he said leaning into the car.
"hm" she said quietly.
Mattia got back in and closed the door.
"what's wrong?" he asked her.
she stayed silent and she wiped the tears coming from her eyes.
"i know what it's like"
"and i did it to him, twice."
"what are you talking about" Mattia asked.
"cheating Mattia" she said leaning back.
"go talk to him, if you really want him back, you'd put in the effort." he explained
"get out." she said starting the car.
"Allie come on." he said to her.
"i'm going to see him."
"oh okay. i'll see you" he got out, grabbed his luggage and running to the house.

"is Mar here?" i ask his mom who opened the door.
"why do you care?" she asked
"Mrs.Castano, i need to see him" she gave me a disgusted look.
"you can wait in your car, i'll see if he even wants to see you"
"slut" she said under her breath as i walked away.

i ignored it and ran so i wouldn't get drenched and got into my car. i rested my head on the steering wheel.
what if i couldn't get him back. what if i messed up for good. what if it's not meant to be. what if- "open the door"

i look over and Mariano is tapping on the window with his bent finger holding his hood on his head.
i unlock the door and he quickly sits in the passenger, closing the door behind him.
i just looked at him.
i looked at him and just looked
"what" he says.
"i love you, i'm in love with you" i say quietly
"are you really? cause if you were you wouldn't have done what you did Allison" he said calmly.
"i didn't mean for it to happen i was drunk Mar" i say dragging my hands down my face.
"i got it" he tried opening the door but i locked it.
"Allie, open the door" he said after he tried unlocking it but i got to it first.
"Mar please just listen to me" i tear up and place my hands on my chest.
"i've listened, you were drunk and you cheated on me"
"what more is there to know" he said raising his voice.
"remember when, when we first brought Matteo home?" i say.
"yeah"
"seeing you walk in with my ba-, our baby in your hands" i softly chuckle.
"it made me realize how deeply in love i was" i hold his hand.
"please don't leave me" i say placing my head on his hand.
"Allie" he sighed.
without thinking, i look up and kiss him and surprisingly he kissed me back.
he pulls back, "Al" he says.
i stop and look at him. he says nothing and pulls me in again. kissing me passionately. and he continues.
i end up on his lap and he reclined the seat.
"you wanna move to the back" i say in between the kiss.
"Allie" he says pushing me back softly.
"i love you, but i can't be with you" he said
"we can fix this Mar, please" i say still sitting on his lap.
"i can't trust you anymore, i can't." he said moving me back to the drivers seat.
"bye mama, i love you" he said placing one last kiss on my cheek.
i watch him walk off, not even looking back.
