The Power of a Grandmother.
~*~
Reagans POV:
CRASH!
I jolted awake. What the hell was that? I got up and grabbed my basketball jacket, zipped it up and ran out of my room.
"Collin!" I whisper yelled. I knocked on his door. "Collin!"
The door opened.
"What!"
"Shhhh…"
"What?" he whispered.
"I heard a loud crash." His eyes widened and his they started to glow.
"Go get Cassie. I'll get mom, dad, and Jodie." I nodded and we ran.
I ran in Cassie's room and saw her up and grabbing her sweatshirt.
"What was that noise?" she whispered.
"You heard it too!" I said. She nodded.
BOOM! CRASH!
Our eyes widened. I felt my the calm heat of my powers flowing through my veins. I bet my eyes we glowing. Cassie and I ran out of her room and tip toed down the stairs.
Squuueeeaakkk…
"Shit." I whispered. I stepped on a squeaky floor board.
"We need to remember to fix that." I whispered to Cassie and she frantically nodded her head.
"Get away from him!" I heard my mom yell.
I ran downstairs and couldn't believe what I was seeing. My grandmother was floating holding my brother captive. His hands were tightened around his throat and he looked like he would pass out any moment. My dad was being being held down by a force field.
"Collin!" Jodie cried holding onto mom. Cassie and I stood there shocked. I finally spoke up.
"Grandmother…You died." was my smart response. Her gray eyes swiveled from Collin onto me.
"Woah that's what my eyes look like when I use my powers." I said astonished. Her eyes looked like storm clouds that got hit by lightning. They were glowing.
"No yours are more blue." Cassie said. I nodded.
"Lookie here…My granddaughter. The only one I'm here to take." grandmother said smirking. Her voice sounded so inhuman. It sounded like a thousand voices in one.
I shivered "Wha-what do you mean take?" I stuttered.
Her gray eyes narrowed "You're coming with me Millie." she said.
My eyes softened, she used my old nickname.
Wait no. Bad lady.
"Grandmother I'm not going anywhere with you." I said.
She laughed, "Why of course you are."
"No. No I am not you psycho. Now put my brother down." I growled.
She shook her head, "You will come with me or he dies." she said.
"I've had enough of this. You're supposed to be dead! But no, you're here. What the fuck!" I yelled.
I rose my hand and flicked.
"Ahh!!" my grandmother yelled and dropped Collin. He staggered over to my father.
