|POV Janus|

It had been about 2 days since my huge argument with Virgil & here I stood, in the living quarters of Thomas' mindspace after we had just sunk out once the recording of SVS:Redux had finished with Patton, Roman and Logan all stood in the room with me. Of course, all the videos were scripted so the argument between me and Roman was all fake, meaning there was no strange tension in the room caused by that.

"That recording went so well! Good job everyone!" Patton was the first to speak, gaining all of our attention.
"I have to agree, it went quite well. My congrats go to all of you three for your exceptional acting this time around," Logan added on, "although, it was quite strange that Virgil didn't make a feature in today's video."

Hearing that name just sent shivers up my spine. Slowly and gradually, the guilt started to climb into my conscious. He hadn't come out of his room since the argument... and I remember clearly every word I spoke to him. I may be deceit but I knew it was no lie to say I crossed multiple lines when talking to him. For one, I shape shifted into him, something he told me never to do again. Furthermore, I told him that he was basically useless...

A voice ended up snapping me out of my thoughts. "Hm, i'll see if I can include him in the next script then. Speaking of that Emo Nightmare, I haven't even seen him in awhile?" Roman questioned.

"Oh! Yeah... thinking of it, you are right Ro," Patton pondered, his gaze wandering over each of us for a moment, "maybe he's having another bad bout of anxiety himself? Remember he had one of those awhile ago?! And he stayed in his room for almost a week."

I knew exactly what Patton was referring to. A few months ago, Virgil didn't come out of his room for close to a week & it turned out he was having an extremely bad wave of anxiety that refused to leave him. He kept himself in his room as to not cause strife through heightened anxiety on Thomas. Quite considerate, all things considered, but I couldn't help but wonder if I had caused this sudden disappearance of Virgil.

"Well the totally obvious thing to do here isn't to go and send someone to check on him," I added my input which garnered one of Logan's nods of approval.

"I agree with Janus here. I shall take the job of checking on him, if no one else minds that is?" The logical side questioned and received no objections. Part of me was able to tell Patton wanted to check on Virgil himself but chose not to say anything. I mean, it was pretty obvious that Logan displayed some form of fond emotions towards Virgil, which was rare for him and because of that, no one wanted to deny Logan the ability to check on his totally not crush.

"Alright, I shall return soon," Logan declared and closed his eyes as if he was about to sink out to Virgils room... but he didn't sink out.

"Is... something an issue, Logan?" Roman questioned with a puzzled expression.

"I..." Lo paused and clearly tried to sink out again before looking back to us three with a look of confusion, "I can't sink into Virgils room... it's almost as if there's a metaphorical block stopping me from entering-?"

Hearing that statement from him only plunged all three of us into the same level of confusion.

"Well, you think he maybe literally has his room locked? Couldn't someone just... I dunno, maybe go and knock and see if he wants to come out to us?" Patton suggested.

"I suppose that seems like a worthwhile idea..." Logan replied, you were clearly able to see the cogs in his brain turning at this unusual situation, desperately trying to find a logical explanation as to why Virgil would have his door locked in the middle of the day. Most sides didn't even lock their doors at all apart from sometimes at night or when they weren't in the room.

Silently, Logan turned away from us and walked out of the living quarters, on his way to our rooms to check on Virgil. The comment made about Virgils room being locked had clearly put Patton on edge, and I would be lying if I said that I wasn't slightly worried too. I didn't understand at all why I felt concerned for Virgil, we'd had hundreds an hundreds of arguments before and I never cared, but I knew that this time was different. He saw me smirking as he entered an attack. He saw me leave him there. He heard me tell him every single one of those things. Most of our arguments just ended with one of us getting fed up of the constant back an fourth & giving up. But this last one was so different.

But for now, I just had to wait for Logans return. I'm sure everything's fine & i'm just being slightly paranoid. It's not like Thomas hasn't been feeling any anxiety at all, like the time Virgil ducked out, so that was a good sign atleast.
