"Remus? We need to talk." I spoke out. Summoning sides when we weren't in the real world was strange because unlike when Thomas summons us, we don't really have to show ourselves if we don't want to. But I knew Remus better than that, he never missed an opportunity to show up and mess with us. All three of us light sides became hyper aware, our eyes darting to cover every inch of the room, looking for the spot Remus would show up from.

An uncomfortably long pause with no sign of the dark side in question proceeded. We all exchanged glances with eachother, wondering who would be the first to speak up or make a move. It was clear we were all familiar with how Remus worked at this point, somehow he always got the shock factor.

"Remus..?" I asked cautiously again, seriously not wanting to waste time right now while my friend might be hurt somewhere.

"Kiddo, if you're there right now, we really need to talk?" Patton tried to summon him this time, but to no avail.

A few second of silence fell into the room again before Roman rolled his eyes dramatically, "Oh for gods sakes, he's probably ignoring us so he can go kill some creature in the imagination agAIN-" his voice jumped in shock as a figure appeared behind him and slapped him round the back of the head with no warning. Of course, this figure was Remus. His devilish smile was strung across his face, allowing us to be able to see his strangely pointed teeth.

"I heard my name~" he taunted, slinging his arm around his brothers shoulder casually as if he didn't just smack him round the head. Roman slightly doubled over in pain, placing his hand to the back of his head where he had previously gotten hit.

"Ah, Remus, thank you for showing up," I tried to politely thank him, in all honesty just wanting to hurry this up, the only thought that occupied my mind was if Virgil was going to be ok, "we need to talk... well, ask something of you."

"Yeah, yeah, yeahhhh, I heard all the yelling. I'm pretty shocked you guys are asking me of all people, must be pretty serious~" he gave out a carefree yet somehow still scary chuckle, "soooo, fill me in! What's happening?"

"Well, I'm unsure if you're aware, but Virgils missing and we speculate that he may possibly-"
"WaitWaitWait Wait-" Remus interrupted me, "Virgil is missing? What the fuck?! For how long-?"

I folded my arms together and used my fingers to lightly and repeatedly tap on a part of my arm, losing my patience slightly more, "we think two days? We went to check on him and we ended up finding a note saying he was going to 'erase himself', we aren't sure what this means but-"

"Erase himself-? Oh my gOd- shit..." Remus interrupted once more, but this time around his corrupt smile seemed to have faded. Slowly, Remus let go of his grip around Romans shoulder and kept his hands to himself. All eyes were on him. Needless to say his reaction was more than slightly strange, leading me to believe he knew something we didn't.

"Huh-? Does 'erasing' mean something to you?" My heart jumped for a split second out of a moment of hope that we may find more information on what was going on via Remus.

"Uhh, yes? But it's not a good thing at all-" I had never seen Remus look so serious and worried, and never in my life did I think I would feel less comfortable seeing him without the intent to murder in his eyes.

"Remus we don't have time to be ominous! If it's really that bad, then just tell us so we can move on and do whatever we need to do to avoid things getting worse!"

"Ugh fine! I'll tell you the full story, no wasting time, but you all automatically owe me now, so buckle in, bitches," his words were strange and inappropriate like normal, he just didn't say them with the same feral tone in his voice, "alright so... back when Virgil was young and stayed with me and Jan in the dark mind palace, me and him were really close friends, we hung out almost every hour of every day. And a lot of the time I would show him around my part of the imagination. One day, we got bored and decided to travel to the darkest part of my imagination so I could show him around. Now... in the back of my imagination there's a door that leads to a small, empty, black room called the Reverse Room. That room is there incase me and Roman ever need to revert back to King Creativity," I noticed both of the twins shivered as Remus said it, "but it doesn't only work for us. I explained to Virgil that any side who goes in there will revert back to previous forms of themselves, and I also informed him that if you stay in there too long you'll revert back to being nonexistent unless you're Logan because Logan was the first side formed."

"W-Wait so are you saying it's too late?!" Patton cried out, "and why did we not know of this room?"

"Uhh, I dunno? How longs Virgil been gone? Cause it would take me and Roman maybe... a day and a half to revert back to King?" He shrugged, "and there was no need for any of you to know. Hell, I'd almost forgotten about that place, it's been years since I've been."

"Oh god- he's been missing for two days- we need to go now," I panicked, glancing at Remus with a serious look, "please Remus, take us there."

He seemed to be taking a moment to think before he responded, "tch... fine, but a few things first. One, me and Roman can not be in the room at the same time or the room will recognise us, it was still made for us so it will react to us the fastest," Roman reluctantly rolled his eyes and nodded in agreement, "Second, if you don't want to get attacked by the other Minor Dark Traits, you'll need to bring Janus,"

"What?! Why do we need him?!" Roman yelled out in protest, "can't you just protect us?!"

"Nope, nope, nopeee," Remus shook his head, "the other minor dark traits know me too well. They know full well that all they need to do is show me some blood and I'll go feral in teaming up to beat you guys up! I'll do anything for blood~ and trust me, EVERY dark side is scared of Janus. Buut you can't only take Janus either, because he doesn't know the way around my imagination very well!" Remus' normal demeanour seemed to be returning.

"I see... Patton, my apologises but would you mind going to retrieve Janus from his room in a moment? I believe you'd be the best in convincing him," I asked, knowing completely well I'd loose my temper with that snake and Roman would end up being overly snarky or rude. Almost immediately, Patton nodded his head in return. Even if he felt sour emotions towards Deceit, he's the least likely to let it get in the way of our mutual goal.

"Last thingg~" Remus smirked slightly, "I'm not doing this for any of you three. Virgil is like the brother I never had and I want him safe no matter the cost. So on that note, get Janus, get your shit together & get in losers, we're cleaning up the mess you guys caused."

Without another word, Patton rushed out of the room as we were able to hear his footsteps slowly get further away.
Roman seemed to be having a moment to ponder and process either Remus' brother comment or what was going to happen over in the dark side of the mind.

A moment of silence passed before I opened my mouth to speak, "Remus, about you calling this an issue we caused-"
"Quiet," he interrupted, not allowing me time to finish, "I don't care if you're about to tell me that Janus is the direct reason this was caused, that's not the bigger picture, and I don't have time nor energy to explain it to you light sides."

His statement just made even more questions appear in my mind. Why was this whole thing so confusing... why couldn't Virgil just be here.
I had so many things I wanted to tell him... and confess to him... but I had no time now, and all I was left with was that one line in the note
"I love you"
