Drunk Confession

FOUR months passsed like a blink. Tomorrow is already our last day for our finals for the first semester and I'm having a hard time coping up with biochemistry. God! I can deal with AnaPhy (Anatomy and Physiology) but biochem? It's a big no. Though, I have expected that my course is a not joke at kailangan kong magsunog ng kilay sa dami ng babasahin.

As of the moment, I'm on a ZOOM call with Yumero and Liza. We're reviewing together.

Today's Thursday so I need to study a lot for tomorrow's examination.

"Yume's planning to go an all-nighter." sabi ni Liza sa kabilang linya.

"Girl, I have to study harder or else papalayasin ako sa bahay namin. I'm not like you guys na kahit walang review you can still manage to get high scores." he stopped. "Dad will really get mad at me if I fail this sem."

Yumero is very open to us about his problems. One of them is his course. It was his dad who chose this course for him.

"I'm sure your hard work will pay off Yume." sabi ko sa kanya.

"At first I really hate this course, but lately napamahal na ako sa kursong ito and it's because of you guys." he added.

With just Yumero's simple words it made me smile. Thanks god I still have my friends for keeping me sane.

"Aww... I love you Yume." Ani Liza at pinunasan pa nito ang gilid ng mata niya na kunwari ay naiyak.

"Shut up, bitch." umirap si Yumero dahilan kung bakit kami natawa.

It's already past 11 when I finished reading and solving calculations for our Biochemistry exam tomorrow.

"Guys, I have to go. Tapos na rin naman ako sa biochem." I said while closing the book.

"Sana all tapos na." sabi ni Yumero. Hindi man lang ito nag angat ng tingin sa screen niya.

"One chapter left and I'm done too." saad ni Liza habang kumakain ito ng chocolate bar.

"Okay, I have to sleep early kasi. Bye guys!" I waved to the screen and ended the call.

I did my night skincare routine and went to bed.

I woke up around 6:30 in the morning, I took a bath at isinuot ko ang uniform namin. Bumaba na din ako para mag almusal. Inilapag ko sa coffee table ang bitbit ko kaninang backpack at ang IPad ko.

After eating breakfast, hinintay ko muna ng ilang minuto si Kuya at dumiretso na rin kami sa school.

"Good luck, Kuya." I kissed him on his cheek and we seperate ways.

Medyo maaga akong dumating sa room kaya kinuha ko muna ang reviewer ko at nagbasa ng ilang minuto.

Ni hindi ko nga namalayan na nasa tabi ko na si Liza at nandito na rin sa loob ng room si Yumero. Kinalabit ako ni Liza nang dumating ang proctor namin.

The hours was just like a sprint, it happened so fast. Finally, we're done with first semester.

"My goodness, hindi kinaya ng utak ko ang biochem." I shouted as soon as we left our room.

"Girl, akala ko nga kanina dinugo ang ilong ko." sabat ni Yumero.

"Ang easy lang kaya nun." Ani Liza at nauna na itong maglakad sa amin.

Yumero slightly pulled her hair making me laugh.

"Palibhasa ang talino mo doon." inirapan ni Yumero si Liza. "May pa all-nighter pa akong nalalaman. Wa epek naman." dagdag pa ni Yume.
