We Meet Again

WHEN the plane landed in NAIA, it took me half an hour to go out because I was waiting for my luggage. My brother went back to the Philippines a month before I came back since he was processing the papers of our house which was sold to the bank. We wanted to buy it again, there were so many memories left in that house and we can't afford if we're going to lose it. We paid it by installment since we don't have that large amount of money to pay in just one go.

When I arrived home, I was pulling my luggage with me and was wondering why the house was so silent. I was expecting a welcome surprise but I think it wouldn't happen. I opened the door with my spare key and was greatly surprise when a party popper was blown right in front of my face. I held my chest and glared to the one who did it. It was Yumero. 

"Surprise!" They all shouted back. 

I smiled widely and walk towards them, "Babies," I knelt on one knee and hugged the triplets. 

"Ay hindi yata kami ang namiss, yung mga anak mo yata, Daeyan." Sassy complained.

I didn't mind them and kissed the cheeks of the three. They giggled because of that.

"Tita Doc," The two boys hugged my neck and kissed me on both cheeks, yung isang babae naman, hinintay matapos ang mga kuya niya at hinalikan din ako sa pisngi.

"You miss Tita Doc?" The three nods their heads unison. "I have pasalubongs for the three of you, I'll give it to you later okay?"

"What about us?" Jati asked, getting jealous of the triplets.

"Oo nga, paano naman kami." The mother of the triplets seconded.

I rolled my eyes at them and immediately went to my luggage.

"Oh ayan!" I gave each one of them a keychain with their names and an engraved Canada on it.

"Ano to? Parang pang Boracay lang 'to ah." Sassy frowned.

"Ang aarte niyo akala niyo ba madali kumita ng pera!" I grunted after pulling out three shopping bags with a luxury brand printed on it.

"Axcel, here's yours," the kid jumped out of joy when he heard his name.

"Aciel, come," I handed the other bag to the other kid and he shouted using his dolphin voice.

"And here's for Azreil!" I waved the bag in front of Daeyan's daughter and she immediately runs up to me so I carried her. Magpapakarga din sana yung dalawa kaso baka mabalian ako ng buto dahil medyo may katabaan ang tatlo. I don't know how Daeyan managed to take good care of these three.

"Nako, Daeyan! Magiging spoiled brats yata yang mga anak mo," Yumero said while taking a sip from a can of beer. "Kay Erin palang sobrang bigay na eh," he added.

We were here in our garden and the triplets were inside the house and my brother was looking after them. He wanted us to hang out because  he knew we probably miss each other.

"Kung alam ko lang na ganon niyo pala is-spoil yung unang magkaka-anak sa atin edi sana nagpabuntis na din ako," Lyn commented.

"Gaga ka talaga!" Daeyan hit Lyn on her nape, causing for her to throw up a little amount of beer because she was taking a sip on it. "Hindi kaya madali manganak!"

"Ouch! Why did you hit me?! Parang matatanggal ang ulo ko ah," Lyn complained, holding her nape.

"I just want to at least give them everything for the years that I was not here noong pinagbubuntis mo ang tatlo. I know it was hard to become a mother, lalo na at hindi mo pa pinakilala sa kanila yung ama nila," I smirked at Daeyan.
