"AND WHO is this guy?"
I just shrugged my shoulders.
"Tsk. Sigurado naman ako na mas pogi ako doon." proud pa niyang sabi.
"Really?" sabi ko.
"Uhuh! I'm sure I'm smarter than him too." dagdag pa niya.
The nerve of this guy.
"That... I didn't know."
"What do you mean? Wait. Is that someone a girl or a boy?" he asked while smiling widely.
I smirked once again. Damn! I'm enjoying this.
"His name is Ciato."
"His. That means he's a boy."
"Yeah."
"Introduce him to me. Baka nga panget yun eh. You see Angel, I'm handsome, smart, well-built and rich. I already have everything. Siguro nga patpatin pa ang lalaking yun eh."
I can't help but to laugh. Seriously? Kinokompara niya talaga ang sarili niya?
I let out a heavy sigh and stared at him. I gave him a smile or should I say an evil smile.
"He's my dog."
He was about to say something but he stopped.
"What?" nalilito niyang tanong.
"He's my dog." ulit ko. "So basically, Caitto, you're comparing yourself to a dog."
Unti-unting nawala ang ngiti sa mga labi niya.
He probably didn't see this coming.
Humalakhak naman sa kakatawa ang ibang pinsan niya kasali na doon si Liza.
"Damn, man." Ani Kuya Zane
"Cat got your tongue, Caitto?" nakangising tanong ni Ate China.
Humupa na ang tawanan nang bumaling sa akin si Caitto.
He smirked. Like as if he was up to something really dangerous.
"Oh, Angel. You're really different."
"Will you please stop calling me Angel? I have a name you know."
"You haven't introduced yourself yet, Angel."
Napatahimik ako dahil doon. Oo nga naman.
Inilahad ko ang kanang kamay ko sa kanya at nagpakilala.
"Erinayle Juliet Evanglista." tinanggap nito ang kamay ko at mahinang pinisil ito.
"Your name suits you well."
Ilang minuto na siyang nakahawak sa kamay ko kaya tumikhim na ako at binitawan din niya ka agad ito.
"I'm sorry! I thought I'm holding my girlfriend's hand." sabi nito tsaka ngumisi.
Napakunot naman ang noo ko.
"Kuya Caitto, stop it! Okay, guys let's go na sa labas. May hinandang activities si Mommy for us." sinabi ito ni Liza.
Umangkla naman sa mga braso ko si Lyn at Yumero at naglakad na kami palabas.
"Ano yun sister? May hindi ka ba sinasabi sa amin?" tanong ng dalawa.
"Wala lang yun. Nakilala ko sa grocery store last night. May konting argument lang kaya ayun." pagpapaliwanag ko.
