Ashton jumped a little as you snuck up behind him and wrapped your arms around his neck.

You laughed against his neck and as he turned around in his chair he pulled you onto his lap and circled his arms around you to keep you there in his embrace.

He couldn't hide how grateful he was that you had come to surprise him in the studio. It's been a long day and sadly, it's not even over yet.

The boys all have a bunch of work left to do but they went on a coffee run. Ashton stayed behind to listen back to a few things they've finished today and he's certainly glad he did because he wondered if he would've missed your surprise visit otherwise.

"Hi!" You smiled as his forehead fell against your own.

"Hi. What are you doing here? Not that I'm not happy to see you, because I am. It's been a long few hours and you coming here was a great surprise."

You put your hands on his shoulders. His muscles felt tense under your fingertips. He's tired. You can see it by the bags under his eyes. But he's a hard worker, too. He wasn't gonna stop till he had to.

"I just missed you."

You went to lean your head down on his shoulder but he grabbed your chin in his hand. He sent you an intense gaze, chuckling when his other hand moved along your back and caused you to shudder. "I missed you too."

You watched as his eyes moved back and forth from your gaze and down to your lips. You closed your eyes as he leaned in, meeting you halfway for an intense and passionate kiss.

You moved one hand from his shoulder and to his neck, trying to pull him closer even though he was as close to you as he could be. His lips moved against yours in a fiery kiss and every brush of his fingers along your spine felt like fire along your skin.

You were caught up in him, caught up in the way he'd occasionally smile against your lips into the kiss and the way he made you feel; loved. Safe.

You were so caught up that you didn't even hear the boys come inside. They had been caught up in a conversation about the song they had to do next. Their eyes went wide when they saw you and Ashton. They looked surprised at how deep in the moment you two were; how you didn't even hear them when they closed the door quite loudly behind them.

Luke cleared his throat, but that didn't make you pull away. Only when Luke tapped Ashton on his shoulder with his drink in his hand did Ash pull away. He placed his hand on his chest, throwing his head back as his heart beat rapidly in his chest.

"You scared me!"

You laughed at your boyfriend and leaned your head on his chest. His heart pounded in your ears but began to slow down when your fingers brushed across his shoulder comfortingly.

You kissed his neck which caused him to lean back in for another kiss to your lips. You sighed again this lips, loving how they fit so perfectly against yours and how they moved right in sync with each kiss.

"Love you," you whispered, pulling away to look into his eyes.

They held a look of love. They lit up at your words, a smile crossed his face and he brushed his thumb across your cheek before pecking your lips again.

"Love you too."

The boys just walked into the studio with smiles on their faces, letting you and Ashton continue to live in your little world just a few minutes longer.

It was hard to be upset about it when they saw the both of you so happy. It was all that really mattered to them.
