Ashton kept his hand on the small of your back as you stepped inside Calum's house. You were immediately met with loud chatter coming from all three of the boys.

Your hand shook as you held the invitation in your hand. After thinking long and hard about how to tell the boys you and Ashton finally decided on the perfect way of telling them. And since they all wanted to hang out tonight, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to give it to them.

"It's all gonna be fine. They're gonna be so excited!" Ashton reminded you as he rubbed your back to calm your lingering nerves. You entered the kitchen to find all three boys gathered around the counter as Calum showed them something on his phone, but they all turned their attention towards you and Ashton when they heard you walk in.

"Hey! So happy you guys came." Cal said as the boys all hugged you and Ashton stood by you to make sure they weren't hugging you too tightly. He's already become extremely protective of you and the little human inside you, wanting to make sure you were safe at all times.

When you pulled back you looked at Ashton nervously who nodded his head and encouraged you to hand the cards over to the boys. "Here, we have something special for you all." You smiled anxiously and handed them over as Ashton wrapped his arm around you and pulled you to his side.

You heard the tearing of the envelopes as the cards were ripped open excitedly. The boys looked at each other and to you and Ashton in confusion with the baby-themed cards in their hands. "Don't just look at us like that, read it!" You said, anxious but excited to see what their reactions would be. Ashton nudged his nose against your cheek and you could feel his smile against your skin as the boys gasped.

"What's it say?"

Luke flipped his around, the day on the card showed the day your baby would be born along with a few baby decorations inside the card, making it crystal clear what was going on.

"Are you really-" Calum stuttered, unable to wipe the wide smile from his face, just like Luke and Michael.

"Yeah. We're having a baby!" Ashton cheered happily as the boys ran to you both to give you both lots of hugs and love.

"This is amazing! Congratulations, guys!"

"You're gonna be amazing parents," Calum said and you could've sworn you saw tears glistening in his eyes until he blinked them away.

You could tell how happy and excited they all were and you couldn't help but wonder why you were even nervous in the first place.

"Told you they'd be happy," Ashton said as he pulled you in for a kiss. "Love you so much. Both of you," he smiled, hand resting over your flat stomach as you both watched the boys all excitedly ramble to each other about the newest member of the family who would definitely be loved beyond belief.
