Ashton walked out of the bathroom to find you still asleep on your side, even though he's woken you up three times already today.

He strode back to you and put his hand on your forehead. You felt warm, definitely feverish. He rubbed your arm softly until you opened your eyes. "Y/n are you feeling okay? You're warm and this is the fourth time I've tried to wake you up. We're supposed to go to lunch with the boys today and hang out for a bit, remember?"

You were exhausted. It felt almost like you'd been hit by a bus. But still, you didn't wanna disappoint Ashton or the boys so you tried to pull yourself together. But when you sat up the room started to spin and Ashton was quick to notice.

"Not feeling good?" You could see the sadness in his eyes and you thought you were the reason why. "I'm sorry, Ash. I just don't think I can get out of bed today. I feel really sick. But you should still go. There's no reason for us both to be stuck in bed all day."

He rolled his eyes and gently pushed onto your back. "I don't wanna go without you. Besides, the boys will understand, and I'd much rather be with you anyway. A day in bed sounds amazing. I can take care of you and give you lots of love and cuddles. Sounds like the best way to spend the day, if you ask me."

He kissed your cheek lovingly. "Now don't you dare move a single finger. I'm gonna go grab you some medicine to take down that fever of yours." He went to the bathroom and returned with a couple of tablets. He leaned over to grab the water from his nightstand and he handed it to you, watching as you took a few sips and swallowed the pills.

"Anything else you need?" He asked as he tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. He watched as a small smile broke out on your face. "Yes. I need you to cuddle me."

Ashton laughed and laid beside you. He wrapped you in his arms and grabbed his phone to send Luke a text saying you were sick and couldn't make it. "I'm sorry,"

He locked his phone and put it down on the table before grabbing your hand in his. "Don't be. It's not your fault that you're sick. There'll be other days where we can go out with the boys, it's really not a big deal, baby. The most important thing is that you get some rest and for your fever to go down so you can feel better."

He kissed your hand and then your forehead. He watched you close your eyes as you put your head down on his chest. "Get some sleep, y/n. I'm right here if you need anything. I love you," he whispered softly and laid his head on yours before falling asleep with you.
