Everywhere i look all i saw is eternal nothingness. Khinei's POV
Lightbulb! Argh! why do they have to be so bright?? i asked silently in my head as i stood up.
Then i heard a nurse gasp. i stare down at her she seems pretty normal with her brown hair tied in a bun her eyes just seem like...
"Khinei! You're finally awake!" the nurse said distracting me from my thoughts. I tried to remember what i was just about to say but it is as if the words got erased so suddenly. I begin to frown and i realized i was frowning at her which made the nurse uncomfortable so she asked, "Are you all right?"
"Of course i am." i snapped clearly annoyed i don't know why maybe it's because of her question or maybe because i can't seem to remember a certain dream that is bugging me so you can't blame me for being annoyed.
"Do you need something?" the nurse asked with a tone that seems so unreadable to me i started to be frustrated it's like i don't know things and last time i check i don't have amnesia i just feel like there's this thing that i should know but i don't know and i don't know why and it's making me so frustrated, "I just need to get out of here." i said
I got out of the bed thankful that i'm wearing t shirts and shorts not the hospital gown where it has no piice o clothing to cover your back part which are weird and when i found my body not hurt even though i expected to feel pain since my memory or something i guess is telling me i just fell down the stairs of the Greek museum while on a field trip. i just decided that maybe all i need is some fresh air then my mind will start processing stuff.
But just when i was about to get out of the door Nurse Annoying stepped in to block my exit.
I was about to yell at her when something kinda whispered inside of me "Calm down Khinei." the voice said.
And surprise! i calm down woah! "Please move." i hear myself say. then Nurse Annoying regarded me with a kinda amused look. Okay i am so going to get out of it whether she liked it or not!
Then the door opened and in walked my friends from school Jr (a guy who's limp) and Percy a guy who is so cute that i have a crush on him (don't tell him that or else i'll strangle you xD) i instantly tried to act 'cool'. What could i say I'm 12 crushes are still a thing for me.
"Hi Percy, Jr, what brings you hear?" i asked as if i haven't been angry and frustrated earlier with the nurse who grows more amused by the minute. I swear if those eyebrows of hers crept even higher i am so going to burn them.
"We went to see if you're awake and here you are awake!." Jr said with his usual happy voice.
"Well i am up and kicking." i said the last part with a glare at the nurse. Nurse Annoying just laughed and said "Okay i'll leave now i'll get your father have everything arranged so enjoy you're friends company for a while sorry to leave."
just get out i said in my head she managed to look like she got this part for she got out without a word but before she closed the door I saw a guy with blonde hair in the hallway. Is it my imagination but when he saw me he seemed to smile like he was relieved then HE DISAPPEARED out of thin air! is that even possible??
The nurse closed the door and my mouth just hang open.
Percy and Jr looked behind them to see what i was gaping at but the guy is already gone and the door close they wouldn't see anything.
"Earth to Khin." Jr said waving a hand in front of my face.
"Are you alright?" Percy asked me.
"Hallucinating? Maybe you hit your head?" Jr offered.
"Maybe." I said that explains everything but being the stubborn girl i am i didn't accept that explanation i just kept it out of my mind for now.
"So what you saw?" Jr asked.
"Ghost." i replied but they seem to take it as a joke for they just laughed.
"Definitely hit your head." Jr confirmed as he sits down at my bed.
"Hey!" i said once he sat down at my bed,
"Don't tell me you just made it." he said and started to laugh at his own joke.
But we didn't join him for i was busy staring at a how do i describe it? It doesn't have legs and it is floating with bat like wings she seemed very human except for the mouth and eyes. Maybe i really whacked my head i said to my self for that is just so impossible.
But when Jr and something in my head told me to Run! i knew i wasn't seeing things. And when Percy grabbed my hand to drag me as he runs for safety tells me that the monster is just behind us and if i don't run as fast as i can i'll hit my head again or worse my head might be gone for good.
