Percy's POV
I guess i could relate to her when she felt really weird when people bowed down to her. We've both been orphans and social rejects so i guess i know her quite well after all she was the first one i met when i got out of the LOTUS CASINO and has always been there for me unlike Hades...
But now looking at her imagining her as the daughter of Zeus i start to realize how far apart we grew...
Okay i'm done emoting so let's go back to what's really happening.
Anyway after the whole Capture the Flag game and Khinei being claimed a feast was held or what they would call a campfire.
People are all well partying to sum it all up but i don't feel like in the move to 'party' with them so i just sat in a corner. Normally i would approach Khinei but since we're both giving each other the cold shoulder i decided to stay low.
No such luck people start approaching and talking to me so as soon as i got the chance i bailed out. But i just bumped into Khinei. And now considering the way we've been treating each other and everything that's happening around us let's just say i wish Hades will give me a ticket to hell.
"Guess we're lucky huh Daughter of Zeus?" i asked careful of the words i'll say to her for i don't want to be turned into Percy-Barbeque which she could pretty much do with a zap of lightning.
"Or not Son of Hades." she said returning the insult to me. Considering how much we hate our fathers we should've been offended but we ended up laughing at our useless attempts to offend each other.
"So how does your popularity working for you?" i asked her as we head to the lake.
She mimicked the voice of one of the popular girls sending us laughing we continue to joke like old times until we reached the lake. I don't know what happened but we suddenly stopped talking.
I don't know what came over me but i asked, "Do you remember the first time we met at the LOTUS CASINO?"
"Yup." she nods. "That is until somebody took us out right? Percy, don't you feel something weird about that casino I cant seem to put my finger on it..."
I didn't answer for even i tell almost everything to her i still haven't told her something about the casino for i just realized it last night.
You see I'm Nico di Angelo's Brother i was stuck at the LOTUS CASINO with him and after a while he disappeared from the casino and that's where i met Khinei who seems to be stuck longer than i was. I became friends with her until Hades took us out when Nico died. I slowly but started to adopt to the new culture around me after all i've been stuck there for a hundred years. Khinei on the other hand didn't seem to be affected i guess Hades erased some of her memory.
I let all those things out of my mind until yesterday. For i realized that our coming to camp means we should prepare i mean Hades did visit me yesterday telling me to be prepared. What i don't know why we should be prepared but from the tone of his voice i think something bad, like a war, might happen.
I was still lost in thought when i heard people screaming. Khinei and i quickly stood up and run towards the camp fire.
When we reached it people are starting to panic but when i saw HIM let's just say i want to be swallowed in one of his holes.
Khinei squeezed my hand looking for support i was about to say something reassuring when the flame rose and he beat me to it.
"Oh my wonderful niece! I came to talk to you about ... some things." Hades said, " And i hope you'll participate if you don't want to be ... restrained."
