Khinei's POV
Running away from the monster with your hand being clutched by your crush could really distract you from the things that are happening so let's start it with a list.
1.) I just saw things which definitely means I hit my head really bad.
2.) These things seems crazily real.
3.) And people seem to not notice the monster chasing us they just give us a look saying "Is this a hospital for psychos" and stuff.
We are racing down the hall when I noticed how far away Jr is even though he is limp! He is waving for us frantically. I frowned and a million question echoed my mind they somehow block my panic (i said somehow not completely) but i just let my mind focus on getting out of here. Questions later i said in my head.
Then, (miracle of all miracles) we managed to reach Jr and to my surprise he has gotten a taxi. He wave us frantically inside and i practically dived in with Percy. Once we're inside did i only notice how my heart is beating so fast. And it was only inside that i noticed i was still clutching Percy's hand but the thing that bothered me the most is the three ladies who started driving as soon as we closed the door of the taxi. And lets just say so far they are the weirdest thing i have seen so far (note: they are the three drivers in the book of Sea of Monsters) but i just acted like its normal for surely I'll be seeing a lot of weird things.
I just sighed slumped down my seat not bothering to ask anything for my first priority is to calm down.
Percy looked at me like he was about to explain something but got interrupted when something loud dropped in the ceiling of the taxi. I screamed a little. Ever since i stepped in the taxi i was hoping that psycho of a monster will stop chasing us but it didn't.
Jr said to the three ladies frantically "Get us to Camp Half Blood faster and we promise two more drachma."
The ladies seemed to like this thought so they drove faster and soon i feel like the monster got shook off, for a while. I on the other hand feel pretty shook myself so i asked them i mean it's now or later if there's even a later. "What's Camp Half Blood?"
"A place for people like you and Percy." Jr said to me from the tone of his voice there's a lot more in it i guess he decided to go for the short version which is so not fine by me. I mean if i'm going to be dragged to some camp with a Monster at my heels i gotta know more.
"What do you mean people like us?" I asked looking at Percy whose face is unreadable which means that he believes this all for he has heard it even before me which just makes me wonder how mush do i don't know??
Jr didn't say anything i was about to give him a good flick in the face when he suddenly opened the door just as the taxi stopped. He ushered us out clearly not wanting to waste anymore time then he toss two golden coins in the taxi, closed the door and just like that the taxi went poof! gone!
I was about to start asking questions but Jr just raced up the hill Percy starts to follow but seeing i hadn't move he turned to grab my arm which made me start running.
"Okay what is really happening?" i asked more frustrated then panicked.
"I'll explain to you later right now we have to get you both in the camp's border's before-" Jr said bit he didn't finished it for a giant minotaur appeared in front of us blocking an arc that said CAMP HALF BLOOD.
All i could think of is ... Now what am i going to do??? fight that thing???
But when I looked at Percy who is now holding a sword prepared to fight as if he had experienced with things like this and Jr who for heaven's sake is taking off his pants! maybe he want to pee or something but when i saw his goat legs i instantly thought "That's much worse than peeing"
Just when i thought I will pee in my pants somebody threw a sword at me which i reflexively caught. I looked behind the monsters and saw three girls. One holding a sword like mine, the other armed with an arrow and another who is looks so beautiful and deadly at the same time.
They went and charged the minotaur so did Jr and Percy so i shrugged and follow their example anyways i still have to survive and one way to do that is to fight.
