Khinei's POV
My first impression of the all powerful Hades? : My gods he's a Flame-throwing Lizard.
I guess that pretty much explains how he looks like ( well maybe this is just the form he took ). Anyway i don't have time to dwell on his looks and his desperate need for a bath for he just told me to : "Meet me at Chiron's office." I look at Percy who is just glaring at him and i have a feeling that was meant only for me.
So with a hasty good-bye to Percy as soon as Hades disappeared i run for Chiron's office. But halfway i should've known Percy, Iza, Nic, and Elle will follow me.
"He told you something did he?" Percy asked his voice suddenly seemed grave with seriousness and worry.
I sigh and said, "Yes. So please I have to deal with this."
"No daughter of Zeus we promised to protect you." Nic said.
I nodded which is a wrong move since they asked, "You're not surprised?"
"Well," i said guilt washing over me, "Earlier the wind kinda whispered something to me then i saw you talking about protecting the daughter of Zeus..."
Elle just laughed, " Oh, it's okay you have a future fir being a spy."
The others joined laughing, for they probably imagining me as Khinei Legend World Famous Spy, but i didn't so i told them what's bothering me. "Jude heard you too and his reaction is quite ... unique."
Iza suddenly looked as white as a ghost, said "Oh i've never liked Jude ... I bet he's just like his brother! Oh we better checked him Nic and Elle!"
Nic nodded and they started to leave but Elle turned back to look at me "Um..." she said
"Don't worry i'll handle her i did promised it to Hades," Percy said. They nodded and turned to leave.
"You actually promised something to your father?." I asked clearly surprised.
"Hey he's not the one benefiting from it you are," he said and added silently thinking i didn't hear it but i did "Besides i don't want anything bad to happen to you."
I blushed slightly at that but didn't acknowledge it for i'm not in the mood to have awkward silences with him again.
"So let's go Mr. Babysitter." i said and started running.
He run after me while saying, "Hey, i am not a babysitter!"
I was about to tease him more when i heard the wind whisper something to me i stopped running causing Percy to collide with me.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Shh." i said and asked the wind to help me with listening to the conversation again. I heard Chiron said: "According to the prophecy, the daughter of Zeus together with the son of Poseidon and Hades will have a destiny to fulfill and a new goddess will rise."
"Oh so you're saying we must ... restrain them prevent them from leaving camp so they won't cause trouble?" a voice asked.
"It is the only way." Chiron said but added, "I guess they'll agree to this but Khinei must not find out that her father is-"
It suddenly cut off like someone is blocking it i focused as hard as i can desperate to hear anything about my father (no not Zeus just my human father)
"He's stucked with Khinei's mother." CHiron said.
My MOTHER!! I almost screamed but force myself to remain silent.
"Do you have any clue where they are kept?" the other voice asked.
"No i assumed the Fates do." Chiron said.
And just like that their conversation ended. I know that they'll probably won't allow me to go out of camp. Part of me don't want to for i don't want to encounter any more monster but part of me (the stubborn part of me) says i should go find my mom and my biological father. The thing is i don't know where the Fates are.
"You have to find Medusa's lair first there you will find ... something. Then go back to the Lotus Casino where you'll complete you're team. Then follow the clues that will lead you to what you and her desire." A booming voice said.
I turned and surprised i saw :Daddy Zeus wearing Greek armor.
Instead of saying (this is the first time we met) : 'Hi dad nice of you to drop by after all this time could you buy me a car?' i just said "What does that mean?"
"You'll know." he said plainly.
I was about to give him a sarcastic reply when he said, "Listen to her and beware a traitor will soon rise."
just like that he disappeared leaving me with questions instead of answers.
"So what we do now?" Percy asked breaking the silence.
"We'll have to find Medusa's lair and by that i mean we run away" I said more sure of myself than ever.
