Khinei's POV
I run without looking around my surroundings I just focused on reaching the forest as fast as i could. I was so frustrated I didn't noticed all the thunder but could it be possible that they are responding to my frustration?
Argh! so many questions i didn't have a single amswer i have got to get my head checked!
Even though i just looked at the ground as i run i managed to get inside the forest. When i think people will not be looking I lifted my head to see around me. It's already dark but i could still see clearly so when i saw a lake a few feet away i quickly rushed there thinking that i could find my self for a while.
When i reached it i let my knees give out. I looked at the lake and saw my reflection (well of course) and it reminded me of something again! Of course i feel frustrated i am not known for my patience but this time i let the tears fall. Then as if a cruel joke from the heaven it started to rain!!
"Oh really right when i am crying it started to rain? Is this some kind of joke?" I asked the sky but it just thundered in response. Where could you find a nice listener these days???
I just kept looking up the skies until someone said, "Are you expecting a reply from Zeus or something?"
I looked behind me to find a guy with blonde hair and hazel eyes that are somehow filled with ... mischief? i don't know. Anyway i just stared at him like he is some kind of circus attraction a juggling tiger perhaps if that's even possible.
Then he broke the silence by saying, "Are you crying?"
Okay i might be soft inside but i give people the image that i'm kinda tough so when he said that i quickly wiped my cheeks which is no use since it is raining! I stood up and said in the meanest way possible. I want to say "Hello I'm in the middle of an emote moment here." but i just settled for "Of course not!"
"Okay." he said not believing me. I don't know what made me do it but i glared at him and when he laughed let's just say i didn't expect that.
"So you're new here at camp?" he asked me.
"Camp?" i asked. Then i remembered something about waking up in a hospital, getting chased and reaching Camp half Blood but before we could step inside minotaurs appeared out of no where i guess i managed to kill one then the next ... i'm guessing that's where i black out.
He was about to ask something when i said something first "What exactly is Camp Half Blood?"
He looked like he wanted to ask a question himself but he decided to settle for answering mine instead which works for me, "Camp half Blood is a kind of like a training camp and practically the only safe haven for demigods like you and me. Your satyr didn't explained this?"
"What?" i asked i am so not catching up with him.
Then he snapped his fingers, "Oh you were the one Iza, Nic, Elle and Jr brought to camp along with a guy named Penny? a couple of days ago. As i remembered you were unconscious after fighting with a minotaur."
"Percy. His name is Percy." I corrected him, "And you ... can't blame me for fainting!" I said i don't know why i said that but i just don't want this guy to look at me as a weakling.
He laughed at me which just caused me to be more annoyed but i decided to say professional so i asked, "What's a demigod?"
"Son or daughter of a mortal and a god or goddess." He said casually as if that's just pretty normal.
"God? As in Zeus, Poseidon, Hades and blah blah blah?" I asked and i'm surprised how normal my voice sounded.
"Yup." he nodded.
I just nod as if that's pretty normal for me too ( note : i still don't get it ) i guess if i'm going to hang around here i gotta start buying these stuff.
"I'm Jude son of Hermes." he said extending his hand, which i declined by nodding at it. He retreated his hand but the mischief in his eyes just seem to glow more, "So are you claimed?"
"Huh?" i asked. I mean this gets weirder by the minute! Then a gong or something rung.
'That signals dinner," Jude said "We better get ready anyway later is the perfect time for you to know who is Mother or Father for now just prepare for the Dinner you don't wanna be late."
He starts walking away but he turned back to smile at me, "by the way Khinei, welcome to Camp Half Blood ."
