Elle's POV
We were flying quite high with Iza guiding the Pegasus i got the job for looking for Nic. I looked down as we went flying but i still couldn't find Nic. After a while i felt sick for staying up so high in the sky for so long so i suggested that we go down for a rest. Jude starts to protest but when Iza agreed he agreed to.
Iza land the Pegasus somewhere in the forest. After it landed i was the first one down, Jude followed me then Iza. The Pegasus nuzzled Iza as if whispering something to her she nodded then the Pegasus flew away.
"This is as far as the Pegasus will go." she explained.
"Why?" i asked as we started walking out of the forest.
Iza shrugged and said, "I don't know, besides, this is probably where Khinei, Percy and Jr are."
"How about Nic?" i asked.
"We'll find her," Iza said though she sounds uncertain i still felt hope with what she said.
We continued walking until we finally got out of the forest and a cop stopped in front of us his hands up as if saying, "Halt, what are you doing inside the forest?"
I started to prepare myself to charm speak the cop but Jude said, "We were playing and our friend Elle here got injured by a deer."
Sometimes i'm glad we had Jude by our side since he is very skilled at lying being the son of Hermes.
The cop looked at my bandage arm and stared at us for a while wondering what he should do and after what seem like forever he said, "You may go."
We sighed silently and started walking past the cop but before we could go the cop grabbed my arm. My other arm instinctively reached for my dagger but iza put a hand to stop me from pulling it out. I'm glad she did for surely if the cop had seen that dagger we'll be in quite a trouble.
"Do you have seen or possibly know these guys?" he asked us showing a picture of ... KHINEI, PERCY and JR.
My eyes widen and i almost gasp if it weren't for iza who squeezed my hand telling me to shut up don't react, so i did and lat Jude handle it.
"No, why did you ask officer did they do something wrong?" Jude said. All i could say he really is the son of Hermes!
"They broke some of the statues at the museum." the cop said not even noticing that we're lying.
"Oh, that's a shame. Anyway we have to go we need to show mama that Elle is wounded." Jude said.
The cop just nod and we started walking away.
We didn't talk for a while until we're sure nobody could hear us.
"Okay ... So we manage to find Khinei, Percy and Jr. Question is where are they?" i asked looking at Jude then at Iza. Iza doesn't seem to hear my question for she is staring at something. I looked at where she is staring and saw nothing but the bushes then she said, "Don't have to look for them."
She grabbed both our arms and we started running towards the bush. We stepped through it and found ourselves in a clearing she started running and Jude and I followed after her. We contnued running then she suddenly sat down and i almost tumbled upon her. She pulled me and
Jude down so we both sat. I started to ask but she said, "Hush." then pointed at something.
I followed her finger and saw Khinei, Percy and Jr looking like they're prepared to fight i looked around and saw a pack of Mormo (was a spirit who bit bad children said to be a companion of the goddess Hecate). They weren't attacking Khinei and the others but Iza said, "We have to help them."
She took out her bow and arrow and said to us, "I'm going to shot those Mormos so they'll fell asleep you guys stay hidden unless the Mormo starts attacking them." We just nodded and watched iza as she skips from tree to tree soundlessly and only stop when she got to a place where she can clearly have a shot at the Mormos.
I saw her prepared to release six arrows (yeah Iza is really good at Archery) at the same time to the six Mormos. She was about to release it when the Mormos sniff and started charging Khinei and the others. I instantly went out of hiding to help Khinei, Percy and Jr defend themselves. They looked surprised to see us but given the situation they didn't ask.
I saw a arrow shoots straight at a Mormo it kinda howled then went down. Oh it's not dead just asleep. We continued on defending ourselves for we're never given a chance to attack back then out of nowhere KNIVES went flying. One the slleve of my clothes it was thrown with such force my body got pinned on the tree behind me. This thing happened to the others too all you could here for a while is the sound of knives pinning us on trees. Then it stopped.
My eyes widened and my heart is beating like crazy. Then a girl about the age of 13 came out of nowhere and appeared in front of us. She has long black hair kept up with many pins which i'll bet are small knives. She has a wild look in her Emerald green eyes as if she has seen something...
She said quite scary her voice with a hint of French Accent, as she leaned at me "Oh why on Earth did you try to attack my pets?"
"Those are your pets?" i asked really confused.
"You have a problem?" she asked testily.
"No." i said then quickly added, "Besides they are the first who attacked us!"
"my Mormos attack only bad children!" she said.
"We're not bad!" i said. Then Iza appeared behind causing the girl in front of me to face her she was about to throw a knife at her but Iza's bow and arrow are raised prepared to strike.
"Let my friends go!" she said.
The girl didn't answer back she just charged Iza causing Iza to release the arrow which wounded her arm. This didn't bother her for she continued to charge at Iza. Iza took out her own knife ready for the attack until we heard somebody said, "Stop!"
We all looked up and saw... NIC!!??
