Percy's POV
"Not another Minotaur!" I said as i charged at the one which is behind Khinei. She'll be busy fighting two of the minotaurs the best i could do is watch her back.
After a few slashes with my sword Riptide I am starting to feel exhausted so when the last of the two Minotaurs i was fighting died well i mean turned into ashes i sighed with relief. I look back and saw Jr and Khinei handling the last minotaur i know they could do it so i slowly went to them. I mean even though i want to rum at their aid i was too exhausted i can't do any running.
But when i saw Khinei tried to block a blow that was aim at Jr i stood up and started running to block the shot myself. I was thrown across a tree and blinding pain hit my body. I looked at Khinei sure that i failed in protecting her but she looked unharm for the minotaur turned into ashes which is fine by me.
Khinei finally reached me and she touched my forehead examining a bump in my head, "Oh, Percy I'm so sorry! are you all right? And um how did you do that?" She asked.
But i didn't have the time to answer her or ask her what she means for i blacked out...
Khinei's POV
"He's still not awake?" i asked Jr as i entered the cave we found just a few feet away from where the Minotaurs attacked us.
"Nope." Jr said as he applied something on the bump at Percy's head.
I sighed and sit down at a rock then kicked a pebble out of my way. I looked at Percy's pale face and immediately regretted bringing him and Jr in this mess. But i also remembered the way that minotaur was swallowed by the ground as soon as it touched Percy.
"Argh!" i screamed my frustration out.
"Are you all right Khinei?" Jr asked.
"No!" i screamed at him, "How will i be alright? Percy is injured because of me! I'll never save my parents and my world my life is spiraling out of control! And i'm sure that i am going crazy!"
Jr didn't replied to that just stared at me. After a few seconds i started to feel guilty for screaming at him after all this is not his fault so i told him that.
"Don't worry Khinei i understand how your'e feeling maybe after having some fresh air you'll tell me your decision." Jr said. I looked at Percy in silent reply so he added, "Don't worry i'll take care of him."
"Thanks." i muttered and head out of the cave.
I went near a lake i saw earlier and i sit down . I pulled my knees in for a hug thinking i could pull myself together but no the tears started pouring out.
I buried my head in my knees and muttered to myself, "Dad? Almighty Zeus? A little help will be nice."
I wasn't really expecting for a reply so i didn't lift my head but when a hand touched my shoulder i jumped up which cause me almost to fall at the lake. But somebody caught me in the waist.
At first i thought he was Jude for he look exactly like him but this guy seem more handsome probably because he is ...
"Your a god! Hermes!" i said and started pulling away from his embrace.
"Yup and your welcome." he said with a smile.
I blushed and silently said in my head, Thanks for the embarassment and help dad...
