Chapter 37

*Adri's pov*

Today was the day the guys were confronting Seth...while this was just a storyline it hurt just the same...this storyline that would continue between me, Dean and Seth wasn't going to be easy for any of us..I stood outside the doors leading out to the audience I felt Dean's hand on my lower back "I'm good."

Dean nodded "It's all gonna be alright.."

I nodded "Yeah."

He gave me a faint smile "Ready for this babe?"

I nodded...as the music hit we went down Dean in front me behind him and Roman behind me..I was in my ring gear for the night which was a white tshirt, shorts, a vest and boots...I hopped over the baracade...I stood back as Dean and Roman went after 3MB...once they were taken care off we were in the ring..I watched Dean on the mic the emotion he was putting in this..when he handed the mic over to Roman I gave him a faint smile "Great."

Dean stood behind me wrapping his arms around my shoulders letting his chin rest on top of my head as Roman talked "Yeah."

I let my hands rest on his arms watching Roman...I smiled as Dean kissed my head then joined Roman on the ropes...when they joined me back in the middle of the ring..I stood between them as they joined their fists...when we got back stage I had to get ready for my match against Paige...before long it was time for my match..I opted to go out alone....the match with Paige was going great she was amazing...as scripted The Authority got involved...I was on the ropes and Randy tripped me but it went wrong instead of going to the mat I hit the apron then the floor..I screamed out holding my arm...I could see the look of horror in Hunter, Seth and Randy's eyes as they tried to remain in character...as the refs attended to me my dad came running over "I can't feel my arm!"

Dad smoothed my hair off my face "Be still kiddo alright be still."

As I was being put on the stretcher my right arm strapped to me my left was free...I saw Dean running to my side "Dean"

Dean held onto my hand "I'm here baby..I'm here."

I nodded slightly trying to slow my breathing

He kissed my hand as we went to the back "Sara has Riley don't worry."

I nodded slightly...it was what felt like a long torturous ride to the hospital..after x-rays blood work and all that it was determined I had torn 2 ligaments severely and I would have surgery in the morning...it was estimated I could be out till October...while Dean was calling my mom I sat in the bed crying...this was my first severe injury..the dislocation was bad but I was out 6 weeks...this time I had to have surgery to repair something and I have a 8 month old..I looked up as the door opened..I sighed as I saw Randy "Hi.."

Randy sighed "I'm so sorry Adri you were supposed to land in the ring...I didn't mean for it to happen."

I shook my head "It happens Ran...I knew what I was getting into."

He sat in the chair by the bed "You're in here because of me..."

I sighed "It's not your fault Randy."

Randy sighed "You have a baby Adri..and you're arm will be useless for weeks.."

I nodded "I got my mom...Riley will be fine so will I."

He looked at me "How can you be so calm...you're having surgery in the morning."

I shrugged "I'm terrified..I'm thinking about my son...my husband...I'm scared but it won't do me any good."

Randy stayed for a while just talking u til he had to leave...he kissed my forehead "Take care kid."

I nodded and watched as he walked out..I sighed and decided to sleep

*Dean's pov*

While Adri was back in surgery I  sat in the waiting room with Jerry, Nattie, Nikki, John and Brie...Roman and Sara were keeping Riley and I was keeping in constant contact with them and Ana...I leaned forward my elbows on my knees my head in my hands..I could feel Adri's rings in my pocket.."I feel so fucking helpless.."

Jerry nodded patting me on my back "Adri is tough...I remember when she was 10 she broke her arm falling off the trampoline with Brian...this poor little thing her arm just hanging clinging to her big brother...she never cried in fact I was freaking out my baby got hurt on my watch...but she looked at me with those big brown eyes and told me that she was okay she was tough...and she is Jon...she came into this world fighting she's gonna keep doing it."

I sighed "She's going to be on her own while I work...I can't handle that.."

He nodded "They have Ana...and when I leave on Tuesdays I'll go down to Tampa and check on her and Ri.."

I nodded "Thanks Jerry."

Jerry nodded "No problem."

A doctor walked up "Are you the family of Adrianna Good?"

I stood up "I'm her husband."

He nodded "I'm Dr. James Phillips I'm one of the attending physicians on your wife's case...the surgery was a success the tendons were repaired..there was a tear to the muscle the scans missed but it was repaired as well..."

I sighed in relief "How long will she be out?"

Dr Phillips nodded "Most cases 3 months but there was scary tissue from a previous injury had made the tears much worse..we're shooting for 4 months but it all depends on her recovery."

I nodded "Travel?"

He nodded "I don't see why she can't after a month or so...but no wrestling at all.."

I sighed "Can I see her?"

Dr Phillips nodded "She's in recovery I'll send a nurse to take you to her."

I nodded shaking his hand "Thank you."

He nodded and walked out...

About 20 minutes later a nurse came and got me and took me to Adri's room...I sighed as I saw her she was pale which the nurses said was normal...the ivs and all that around her...I walked over kissing her forehead "Hey brown eyes you scared the hell out of me.."

Adri grumbled "I hate doctors."

I had to laugh "I know babe.."

She sighed "Riley where is Riley?"

I sighed "Safe and sound with his Aunt Sara and a Uncle Joe."

Adri sighed "I'm gonna go crazy with this Jon...I wasn't even out this long with Riley."

I nodded "Well I talked to the doc he says after the first month or so he doesn't see why you can't travel.."

She sighed "I don't want to wrestle anymore."

I sighed "Well talk about that later when you're not groggy."

Adri shook her head "No...I can't so this again...I can't pick up my own baby for who knows how long...I will not do this again."

I sighed "What are you saying Adri?"

She took a deep breath "I never thought I'd say this but I am going to talk to Hunter about becoming strictly a valet...your valet."

I nodded "Whatever you want baby."

Adri nodded "Plus it will be easier to deal with once we decide to have another baby."

I smiled slightly "Yeah."

She sighed softly "I do need you to do me a favor though.."

I nodded "Okay.."

Adri yawned "Make sure Randy knows this wasn't his fault...I told him but he doesn't believe me.."

I nodded "I will...now get some rest."

She nodded and slowly closed her eyes...

I watched as she fell asleep...after telling the others they could leave and after calling Roman and Ana j went back to the room where Adri slept on and off all night

Adri is injured...will things be okay with her gone for months..and she decides to longer wrestle..
