Chapter 40

*Dean's pov*

Things were great this past Monday Adri made her return in a backstage segment with me..it was great having her by my side again but I still worried about her arm but today was Riley's first birthday since we were doing some live shows we decided to just do something simple with everyone...we had the big party last Saturday before we left...we were at this resturant and everyone was there that wanted to be there except Roman who was home with Sara recovering from an injury he was expected to return sometime in December...I stood back watching my son soak up all the attention the girls were giving him..I laughed as Seth stood beside me "Well you now have a 1 year old nephew."

Seth chuckled "Yeah too bad he looks like his ugly ass dad."

I laughed "God tell me about it..hope the next one looks like Adri."

He raised an eyebrow "Is Adri pregnant?"

I shook my head "Not yet but we're trying.."

Seth nodded "What does Vince say I mean she just returned."

I nodded "Adri talked to him about it when she told him she didn't want to wrestle...he said to just give him a heads up so they can work it around my feud with Bray so Adri doesn't end up in the crossfire."

He nodded "Makes sense."

I nodded "Yeah.."

Seth nodded "Guess I should tell you Morgan is pregnant."

I looked at him and laughed "Does Adri know?"

He nodded "Morgan told her she's a little over 4 months along...she wanted to wait till the 2nd trimester...it's a boy."

I smiled clapping him on the shoulder "Congrats man.."

Seth smiled "Thanks."

I nodded "I think Adri will want to keep quiet this time around...with Riley it wasn't exactly planned she was a title holder we kinda had no choice but to tell people..."

He nodded "Yeah bit outside work no one knew till it became obvious on camera she was pregnant."

I nodded "I want things to be different when it happens agaain...I mean yeah I'll be working but we won't have the stresses we had last time...with Matt and my mother."

Seth nodded "Hear anything from them?"

I shook my head "Nothing from my mother I don't know about Matt..neither Sara nor Adri have said anything...I figured if they had Joe would of said something."

He nodded "Yeah he would of especially with him and Sara engaged."

I nodded "Yeah."

Cody walked up "Hey Jon there is some woman asking for you..older lady..maybe in her 50s..."

I raised an eyebrow "Tell Adri I'll be right back.."

Seth nodded "Alright."

I nodded and walked off..I scowled as I saw the woman "Why are you here."

Mom turned "I asked Ana....look I'm not here to cause a problem...I'm just getting my affairs in order while I can.."

I raised an eyebrow "While you can...what does that mean?"

She sighed "I have brain cancer..inoperable it's only a matter of time before it kills me...I just wanted to mend something.."

I shook my head "Why should I believe you."

Mom nodded "I deserve that...I was an awful mom I know that...when your dad left I had no idea what to do or how to deal and I just shut down...instead of sucking it up and being a good mom I let you down I went into my own world not thinking about how it would hurt you...I see how you've turned out..a great career...your beautiful family...all things you have without my help.."
