Chapter 15

*Adri's pov*

It had been 2 weeks since the wedding and I was still on cloud 9....the 4 days we had in Hawaii was a welcomed distraction from work and everything else that was going on I was honestly bummed to have to leave but we did have to return to work..but when we returned home to Tampa for a couple days I discovered a letter from Marie..Dean's mother addressed to me..I didn't open it frankly I didn't care about what she had to say but I knew I couldn't let Dean know about it..not yet at least...but tonight was Extreme Rules...Roman and Seth had a match for the tag titles and Dean was going against Kofi for the United States Championship...I leaned against an equipment box watching Dean warm up...Vince had decided he wanted the storyline with Dean to continue he deemed it good for the show but my safety came first I would only take part in promos but I wouldn't accompany them to the ring until after I had the baby...I wasn't exactly thrilled about this..about becoming a valet neither was Dean for a different reason but this was our job..I pushed myself off the box taking the tape out of his hands "I wish you'd quit ignoring me...I don't like this anymore than you do but Vince wouldn't put me in danger Jon you know that....Stephanie and Hunter wouldn't either."

Dean sighed "I just don't want my pregnant wife all over tv in storylines...I'd like to keep some part of my life private."

I nodded "I know.."

He took my face in his hands "Promise me you'll be careful."

I nodded "I promise."

Dean looked at a nearby clock "Guess we better do this promo."

I held onto his hand as we walked..I took a deep breath...I crinkled my nose as we waited..I groaned "I don't think I can do this."

Seth raised an eyebrow "We got to A."

I shook my head "Not that someone had a lot of cologne it's making me sick."

He laughed "What are we supposed to do about it?"

I glared at him "Shut up."

Dean let his hand rest on my lower back "Deep breaths."

I nodded and the feeling went away...the segment began before Dean had to go out for his match..I was in full on Adri Skye mode..I smiled "Kick ass.."

Dean grinned down at me "Don't I always."

I smiled "Yes but tonight is huge it's a championship match."

He tilted my head up "Don't worry your pretty little head I got this...just prepare to celebrate."

I raised an eyebrow "If I don't?"

Dean chuckled "You've never turned me down before."

I felt myself melt at the sound of his voice..what the hell was wrong with me today...I nodded "We'll see Ambrose worry more about winning that title I'll be right here waiting."

He leaned in like he was going to kiss me then walked away

I narrowed my eyes as he walked away "Ass.."

Roman nudged me as the camera turned off "Told you everything  would be okay."

I nodded "I know."

He smiled softly "Feel better?"

I nodded "It's passed."

Roman nodded "Good."

I stood watching the match..I turned my rings around my finger nervously...I couldn't help but grin as Dean hit his finisher and pinned Kofi for the win..then as Roman and Seth ran out to him...I took my cue and went out to the ring...I got into the ring I bit my lip fighting the urge to kiss him..I was taken aback when Dean grabbed my hand and pulled me to him pinning my hand behind my back I whispered "You did it."
