  ah, now i remember my fear of fireworks (:

  i always forget until a year later.

  fireworks look cool, they just scare me and make me really uneasy.

  had to get out of the car while the next-door neighbors were shooting off fireworks in their front yard. i flinched at the noise and quickly took my suitcase inside.

  i blame my fear of fireworks partially on a mildly traumatizing 4th of july party i went to years ago. wasn't always scared of them.
