  still hyperfixated on botw. i've been to the zora and rito villages with the original plan to wait to get the divine beasts until i've been to all villages, but that's a bit hard atm with the elixirs i have to create.

anyway! there's something i want to talk about! i saw an instagram post and figured out that i'm not the only person who thinks it's fucking gross to see minors aged up.

aging up is when someone takes a fictional character and draws them or creates aus of them being older.

  not all aging up is bad! things like college aus are fine, but when you lewd a fictional character that is canonically a child, you have definitely crossed the line.

  in a sexual context, when people lewd aged up children, it's to be able to lewd them. still, drawing them as adults to do that isn't okay cuz that still sexualizes the character as a child. you are consciously taking a character who you know is a child, look at them, and tell yourself, "i want to draw porn of them."

  it's not?? okay??

  using the argument that it's just fictional characters doesn't make sense either. fiction affects reality. the example the poster used was that case where two kids tried to murder their friend for slenderman. ofc that's a bit wild and unrelated to specifically aging up, but it is an example.

  and also as the op said, "... you are essentially saying, 'you can lewd any minors you want as long as you pretend that they aren't minors!'"

  you can't act like you have control over the canonicity of the different aspects of a character.

  it's still a topic that not enough people talk about and brush over when they see this sort of content.

  don't be okay with adults expressing horniness over children like it's normal and okay (:
