❝ fancy hotel ❞

  okay!! finally getting around to talking about this.

i have no idea how long this'll be. i'm gonna try to shorten it.

  piper (my little sister) and i went with mitch (grandpa), adrianna (grandma), alex (aunt), and jason (friend) to fh (fancy hotel – i'm not gonna reveal the actual name).

in the car ride, we had a good time playing bitlife together. fuck, i've already forgotten what our life was like. we also all got mcdonald's nuggets. that was nice.

  when we got in me, piper, and alex's room (jason had to stay in his parents' room when they came, and adrianna and mitch had their own room). alex sprayed everything down, and the fumes ended up getting jason buzzed. it was a bit entertaining but mostly concerning. we had him sit by a window to get fresh air while he was just spouting random things from the bible.

we got to kinda just do whatever we wanted for awhile as long as we were ready to eat dinner at 8:30. mitch took me, jason, and piper to the pool. we switched between the hot tub and the indoor pool. also played a bit of volleyball badly.

i think we also went to the arcade after that and ate a small thing for lunch? it was pizza though, so i just saved my appetite for dinner. jason and alex played the jurassic park shooting game together.

okay wait, we did go back to the room after the pool. the room was freezing, i was trying to desperately warm myself up, piper cuddled with jason, and alex played acnh.

  we were just big chilling until we had to get ready. i saw jason's outfit for dinner and said, "wait, is that what you're wearing?" god, i felt so bad haha. it sounded awful when it came out. i said it impulsively cuz his outfit looked more casual. alex was dying from laughter.

  i wore my collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up and unbuttoned at the top with black slacks. i looked pretty spiffy ngl. my sister wore a cute lil outfit, and alex wore a dress with a jacket.

we went our separate ways with me and jason going to frh (fancier hotel) with the time we had left. jason and i were wondering where this big statue-thing was in the middle of the main room.

we tried to go play checkers, but the checker and chess pieces were put away so the workers didn't have to clean them during the pandemic. it was disappointing but expected. we just found a couple chairs to sit in and talk about stuff.

i was about to pass out on jason while we were talking about him eating an edible (if you guys met him, i think you'd agree that he doesn't seem like the type to try one). i did randomly get second wind though that got me through the rest of the day.

we went back to fh and waited in the lobby for the others. we all walked into the fancy restaurant for dinner.

they,,, didn't,,, have,,, the potato soup me and jason wanted so badly,,, the menu was much smaller due to covid-19. jason was much more affected than i was though. he gave alex his spoon so he wasn't reminded lamow.

  i ate a petite filet mignon. it was,,, may i say,,, exquis? i finished off adrianna's (she got the same thing), ate a big baked potato, ate some of jason's mashed potatoes, and ate several slices of bread. i practically inhaled everything and ate quicker than everyone else. they were impressed.

  also figured out that jason's parents know casey's parents. i was told to tell jason's dad casey's parents' names, and it was confirmed that jason's dad knows them. their dads play cards together.

after dinner, me, jason, alex, and piper all went to frh together. the coffee shop was closed :( i wanted to go to it, but it was too late in the day. jason and i were gonna see if our favorite worker was there (he was the first person we met there haha).

  alex also kept trying to tell me and jason that we both shared a fever dream when jason tried to tell alex about the "pillar" (which he admitted probably wasn't the best word to describe it). we remember walking around it and looking at paintings of archangels and counting them. we even looked at pics of the main room, but there was nothing in the middle.

  we walked outside frh while it was pitch black out. saw a raccoon that my sister tried to approach. was gonna walk through the cool cemetery, but alex wasn't feeling it. we ended up finding a really cool echo room and shouted a bunch of different things.

  we went back to fh before the trolley would stop coming through for the night. ran into jason's brother josiah in the main lobby, and we went on this dramatic hunt for some water. nobody had it since it was late, and alex and josiah both had a headache.

i offered them my advil that i was carrying around for my recent headaches. they both took some, and we eventually found the one place that had bottled water – the fitness room.

after that, we chilled on some rocking chairs for a min and then went down to the playground. we swung on the swings, and piper slipped on the wet slide haha (she's okay, dw). i pointed out this weird reflection to jason on one of the windows of a school. it showed a person that sometimes walked out. sometimes they had a body, sometimes they didn't, but no one was near the entrance of fh. weird.

everyone except for jason's parents went into our room. we played bitlife for awhile. adrianna and mitch left, and everyone besides me and jason ended up falling asleep. when josiah woke up, him and jason left.

i got good sleep. alex left us without a word, so it was up to me to figure out how to meet up with adrianna and mitch. i called adrianna to figure out her room number and took my sister down there. we went to go eat lunch.

i had a good sandwich, and jason got lasagna. apparently, it wasn't any good. i offered jason the other half of my sandwich, but he didn't take it.

jason and his family were ready to leave :( i had to spend the rest of our time at fh without him. adrianna, alex, piper, and i checked out the gift shops. i was determined to find something for casey although the gift shops didn't seem like they'd have anything casey would like.

i ended up getting two fake succulents, 4 truffles, a small bag of salt water taffies, a magnet-thing for casey, and ear plugs for casey. we dropped off all the stuff we got in our room, and me, alex, and piper went to frh.

alex and i got some coffee. burned my tongue the first sip, and the tip of my tongue felt weird for the next day.

  we sat on a bench waiting for the next trolley. right before it pulled up, a family came over. there was a girl that looked my age. she was pale, had medium-length blonde hair, and blue eyes.

  she kinda stared at me for a moment and looked away. thought it was weird. got even weirder when she occasionally glanced back at me on the bus. we were all the only people on there, and besides her two family members that sat close to her, i was the only person sitting on my side. it seemed like she recognized me, but i didn't recognize her from anywhere.

  her and her family got off the trolley before we did. she looked back up at me, and i looked away when the trolley went and dropped us off at fh.

the last thing we did was go to the arcade. i got my high score, and we cheated the duck claw game. we all met back upstairs in adrianna and mitch's room.

alex got in a heated argument with them over security cameras though,,, it was a bit weird to be in the room for that.

we left and made it back to adrianna and mitch's house at around 7. the plan was for me and piper to stay the night and go to the lake house the next day and pick up casey to go with us!!!
