i think the best day of my life is still the first day i ever took adderall.

to be able to feel no anxiety was fucking bliss. to feel that level of calm almost felt illegal. it was something i don't think i've ever felt before.

what's funny is how the effects of adderall can show who has adhd and who doesnt.

the person with adhd will be calm, while a person without adhd will get euphoric and such.

some neurotypicals without adhd will talk about wanting to take something like adderall to help them focus, and it's always annoying as hell.

adhd meds aren't made to help people without it who are just having a moment where they're struggling to focus. people don't know how adhd meds affect normal people and how our brains and bodies react differently to stimulants and non-stimulants.

if someone is having struggle with thinking due to something like anxiety or depression, it's best to take medication that's actually made to help deal with whatever the issue. trust me.

there's actually a lot of dumb shit people say related to adhd, and it shows how most of the population literally knows shit about what the disorder actually is (like ocd and autism). tons of stereotypes, generalizing, and misinformation spread.

i've had to ignore the dumb shit i've heard in order to not go off on a couple people. i've also gotta be a bit more understanding though since people only know what they're told, but it's not like people can't do research of their own either.
