❝ lake house ❞

alright, so, it's the lake house chapter. i'm gonna try to write this kinda briefly like the fancy hotel chapter.

  we all woke up early. i was making sure casey was ready to be picked up and giving him updates. when we got to his house, adrianna pointed out how the garage was empty, but there were a bunch of objects strewn about in the driveway.

  adrianna went with me to the door cuz she thought she should meet casey's parents to let them know who he'd be staying with. they weren't home, and casey opened the door. my grandparents introduced themselves.

on the car ride, we played bitlife. adrianna and casey's answers were always conflicting cuz casey wanted to wreak havoc haha.

  when we got to the house – which, btw, adrianna's mom tammy lives in, but it belongs to adrianna and mitch – we immediately took everything inside. i was actually a little bit surprised at how much adrianna made casey help out.

  i had to put snacks away, and casey had to make sandwiches for everyone haha. he got one thing wrong – he didn't cut the skin part of the bologna.

after that, we all changed into swimwear and got on the golf cart. adrianna drove us down to the dock. we took off our shoes and boarded the boat.

  we drove for awhile to get gas. saw one of my cousins that i haven't seen in a long time (he's from adrianna's family). then, we drove to jason's dad's boat and picked up jason.

eventually, we stopped for a bit to swim. casey, jason, and i were talking. i started wrapping my arms around casey, but i had to be gentle cuz i was close to knocking casey off of his float haha.

at one point, casey was holding me in his arms. i started leaning over away from him. he made sure i stayed in his arms though :)

casey hated it whenever i went under the boat. even if i just went under there by myself. he has submechanophobia :') i get it. i promised him i'd stop.

we went back up and ate lunch. casey had his arm around me after i had my arm around him for a bit. i started leaning my head on his chest as well.

forgot to mention that we brought a tube with us. jason and piper wanted to go first. jason was thrown off twice lamow.

  casey went from telling me, "i'll make sure you stay on," to, "just fucking let go," ahaHA. we went on the tube together, struggling to share space and get comfortable.

i was screaming, and casey was yelling. we were both hurting. adrianna kept fucking over casey by swerving to his side. i really did try scooting over as much as i could to give casey more space.

apparently, we were flying a few times :'D

  i signaled mitch to stop several times before he got the hint. i was in a really bad position where my right side kept getting scraped, and i felt like cuz of my position, if we had another big bump, i would've dislocated something.

  casey really hurt his back, and my right hand and arm went numb. my shoulder is also sore. it was fun though :)

casey later laid his head on my lap. it was so precious.

we spent awhile out there. casey got sunburned really quickly. i surprisingly got burned on my shoulders (with my right being significantly worse).

adrianna made us use the outdoor shower, but i didn't :') we had to order food as well. i got some nachos, and casey got some steak. everyone ate outside.

hmm,,, what did we do after that again?? oh yeah!! well, it got dark outside, and we headed over to jason's lake house. jason's dad and casey met and recorded a video for casey's dad, and jason's dad made us all root beer floats (it was casey's first).

and! we all watched a few episodes of atla together in the dark. casey cuddled up next to me, and i started running my fingers through his hair. figured out that he really liked it, so i kept doing it.

  mitch came in and told us that me, casey, and piper had to leave in 15 mins. all of us played catchphrase. casey laid down behind me, being cute as usual. i leaned down and laid my head on the pillow so no one could see us, and we were kissing. casey was the best at guessing answers for catchphrase.

  apparently, adrianna got mitch to let us hang out longer, but eventually, we were told to go. we said our goodnights and got in the car. casey and i just gazed into each other's eyes for the ride. piper tried messing with me, and casey held her wrist away.

back at the lake house, we were kinda just expected to go to bed. i sat next to casey, but my sister butted in. took a few minutes of trying to convince her to go before she actually went upstairs.

  i was gonna try to lay with casey, but mitch and adrianna's mom were walking around a bit. i laid on the floor hoping i wouldn't be noticed in case i'd get in trouble for being up. it made me a bit antsy to go back upstairs, so i said my goodnights with casey. kissed him and went off to bed.

  casey and i were sending pics on instagram when he tells me he's scared, so i said, "that's it," and i went downstairs. the light was on in the utility room though, so i walked in there to see mitch rummaging through stuff. asked him what he was up to, grabbed a tiny bottled water, and drank it until he went back upstairs.

i went over and sat next to casey. held his hand and told him he could tell me when to go back upstairs. he said i could go back up at anytime. i made sure he was okay, said, "i love you," and went back off upstairs.

  woke up at 5am with a full bladder. i was too lazy to get up at first, so i laid there for a minute when i realized it'd be better to just go piss, so i got up to go to the restroom (that connects the guest bedroom and adrianna and mitch's bedroom), but the door was locked.

  i laid down a bit cuz i knew that if i went out, the sensors at the top of the stairs would turn on, and that little hall would be really lit up. i didn't want to potentially wake up anyone, so i laid back in bed conflicted with myself until i told myself that i knew i wouldn't be able to fall back asleep until i peed.

  i tried to be quiet the whole time and went to the bathroom right at the bottom of the steps. i glanced over at casey when i got out and saw that he was asleep. went back upstairs and realized that i was fully awake,,, at 5am,,, cuz i let myself stay up being conflicted over peeing.

got back in bed and looked at stuff on my phone for an hour. i suddenly noticed that it was brighter outside, although the blinds were closed. i thought i'd wait downstairs for when casey would get up, so we could make the most of the rest of our time there. i knew he wouldn't get up for awhile. ik how he feels about waking up early.

  i sat on the couch and eventually laid down. i was freezing the whole time, so i got in a fetal position to try to retain my warmth more. ended up falling asleep twice.

  during that time, that's when i randomly heard casey definitely whine in his sleep. i was so caught up in how cute that was that i almost missed him doing it again. those weren't the first times i heard him make some random noises, but they were the most notable. casey also doesn't appear to snore.

when adrianna and mitch went downstairs, i got up and went to the bathroom. when i got out, casey was standing near the back door. we both sat outside and talked. some guy even came over and started talking to adrianna and adrianna's mom. during that time, casey and i ate some donuts, and i had eggs and bacon.

after breakfast, we had to clean our messes and pack up to leave. adrianna's mom gave me her double-chocolate muffins cuz she heard i really like them, and i kept trying to refuse, but she made me take them anyway. adrianna had me and piper take home a big bag of candy we don't need too.

on the car ride back to casey's house, we played bitlife again. casey kept trying to wreak havoc. we also stopped at dq. everyone got ice cream, and i got a chili dog.

when we got to casey's, my grandparents met casey's and talked about their mutual connection with jason's dad. apparently, casey's dad has known jason's since he was 19.

  the rest of what happened was boring, so i'll just end this with i went back home. it still feels weird not being at the lake. i wish me and casey got to stay longer.
