Separation Anxiety

13: Be Happy

Griffin's POV (Couldn't find a song for this chapter so I chose Be Happy by Dixie. Thanks.)

I held back tears as we sat down on the little seats in the lobby. Noah put his arm around me and Blake held a crying Quinton in his arms.

"I love her." I heard Quinton say.

"And she loves you." Blake said and, quietly, kissed Quinton's forehead.

"You don't know that." Quinton said with a single.

"Shhh sleep." Blake said.

Quinton cuddled up into and was soon asleep. The doctor walked out of the room and I stood up.

"Well she has really bad separation anxiety. But she will be fine. She has to stay here until she wakes up." The doctor said.

"Thank you so much." I said.

Noah turned and hugged me. Blake smiled. The doctor showed us to her room. She looked so lifeless.

Blake sat down on a chair in front of the bed with an asleep Quinton in his arms. Noah and I sat on each side.

I took her left hand and started to cry into it. Noah looked at me with a sad smile as I wiped away my tears.

"I love her." I said.

"We all do." Noah said with a smile.

"You and Blake are like brothers to her." I said.

"And we're proud to be." Blake whispered, ruffling Q's hair.

"Where's Bryce?" A small voice said.

I turned to see Zoey, looking around the room. We all froze. Noah and I attacked her with a hug.

"Wait. Where is Bryce?" Quinton asked, not noticing Zoey.

We all froze. Quinton just looked at us, weirdly. He looked at each of us boy then Zoey. His eyes went wide then attacked her with a hug.

He finally backed up after I gave him a warning look. Quinton sat back down on Blake.

I saw Blake's face go red as I noticed that there was another chair by me and smirked. Noah smiled.

"Cute." Zoey said.

"But for real, where is Bryce?" Blake asked, laughing a little.

"I don't know." I said.

"He was in the car with us, but he wasn't in the lobby with us." Noah said and we nodded.

"Well we can figure that out while we check out Zoey." I said.
