Lila's POV
My eyes fluttered open and I found myself lying on top of the covers on my bed.
How did I-
Oh god. Those men. They tried to rape me. Then Jayden came and then I woke up with him carrying me to the car. He must have brought me home.
I glanced down and saw I was still in the same clothes I wore when we went to the mall.
But what was the time? It was still fairly light but quite dark, so I assumed it was early evening.
I glanced down at my fit bit and saw that it was 6:30. It was 3:30 when I last checked the time outside the apple shop, so I must have been asleep for just under three hours.
I decided that the best thing to do was take a shower. I needed to get the feeling of the men's hands on me off my body.
I sat up on my bed and put my feet on the floor with my hands resting on the mattress behind me. I then pushed myself off and stood up, having to grab onto the bedside table next to me as I felt a wave of dizziness surge through my body.
I waited a moment for the spell to pass before walking over to my closet and grabbing a pair of plain white and blue pyjamas. I then walked over to my bathroom and stepped inside.
My pyjamas needed to be put down before I could actually have a wash, so I placed them next to the bath mat in front of the shower.
I then proceeded to pull off my clothes and step into the shower, brushing a hand through my hair to attempt to get out some of the tangles so that shampooing and conditioning it would be easier.
The shower was pretty easy to work, and usually I would have one at a normal temperature, but today was different. I wanted- no- needed to get the feeling of those men's hands off my skin.
That was why I decided to have an extremely hot shower so that it was easier to scrub at my skin and help my mind focus on something other than what happened only a few hours earlier.
I quickly rinsed my body before grabbing a sponge and began to harshly scrub at my stomach, neck and wrists, taking note of the bruises that were forming from the men's tight grips.
After about five minutes under the boiling hot water, I turned down the temperature and quickly washed my hair with my strawberry scented shampoo.
I finished and stood there for a moment, allowing the water to wash over me as I attempted to clear my mind.
I don't think I would ever be able to verbally describe just how disgusting and exposed I was. I would never be able to describe how insanely scarring that moment was, or how I hated myself and my body for what it had been through.
I'd been so helpless as well. Like there was nothing I could do, I just had to stand there and take what was happening to me.
Only a couple of minutes later, I heard yelling coming outside of my bathroom. It sounded like it was coming from in my bedroom. I couldn't really hear what was being said, but I did catch almost inaudible words such as 'she', 'gone' and 'where'. It didn't take a genius to figure out that they were talking about me.
Deciding that it was a good idea to let them know that I was safe and just in the shower, I turned the water off and stepped out onto the cold floor.
I grabbed a fluffy, white towel hanging on a hook a couple of metres away from me and quickly dried off my body. I then pulled on my plain pyjamas and tied my hair into a low bun that rested against my neck. Perfect.
I opened the door connecting my en suite to my room and saw Mason standing there, looking around frantically.
My bedroom door burst open and Cole, Noah and Jayden ran in, beginning to fire questions at Mason, who looked increasingly worried, about my whereabouts.
