I let out a groan and slumped back against my seat. "Why couldn't I have just stayed home?" I grumbled quietly.

"That's what I want to know," Jayden mumbled from the driver seat.

I rolled my eyes and leaned forwards to punch his arm. Ha. He deserved that.

"Give her a break," Joe sighed, not looking up from his phone. Even though he was clearly bored of the two- sentence conversation and clearly just wanted us to shut up, I was pleased that he'd put Jayden in his place so I sent him a grateful smile.

Joe glanced up and made eye contact with me, a devious smirk spreading across his face. Oh boy. That was never good.

"I mean, I doubt she can handle your comments. She's only a baby," he snickered and my eyes narrowed into slits.

"I'm going to get you!" I screamed, lunging towards him, only to feel Zac grab my waist and pull me back. "Let me at him!" I shrieked like a crazy lady.

"As much as I find my twin annoying, if he's murdered, there will be a lot of paperwork," Zac said seriously with no trace of a joking attitude.

I sighed but slumped back against my seat anyway, shooting a glance over at Joe and seeing that he was already grinning at me with satisfaction.

I gave him a quick middle finger, shaking my head.

Joe just rolled his eyes at my immaturity and I smirked at him, feeling satisfied.

"Can you two stop?" Liam groaned from the passenger seat. "We're here anyway."

I turned to look passed Zac and out of his window, and saw that we were indeed rolling to a stop in front of a house. It must have been Devon's.

Jayden stopped the car and turned the ignition off. "It's only a five minute walk to get to the mall from here," he said, before looking directly at Zac and Joe. "You two will probably get along really well with Devon, Kyle, Levi and Austin."

"Yep," I snorted. "They're equally as annoying as you."

"You brat," Joe grumbled playfully, reaching over and punching me not- so- lightly in the stomach.

"This is why Zac's my favorite out of you two," I said, trying to sound as sincere as possible. I knew that would definitely rile Joe up.

He opened his mouth to say something when Liam spoke up. "Lila's very ticklish," he smirked, before proceeding to clamber out of the car, winking at me as he shut the door.

I stared in shock at my stepbrother. "Traitor!" I yelled angrily.

Jayden glanced back at us and then at his door, seeming to be in the middle of an internal battle. "I want to leave, but I also want to see you torture Li," he said, pursing his lips and staring at me thoughtfully.

I let out a defeated sigh and slumped back in my seat, muttering profanities under my breath. "Just get it over with," I said reluctantly.

"Yep. I definitely want to watch this," Jayden grinned.

"Well I don't. I'm leaving. I don't want to see you guys bullying Lila," Zac said, shooting me a sympathetic smile. You could definitely see who the nicer twin was.

My cousin opened the car door, allowing me to breath in the fresh air for a moment and taste what freedom was like, before it was once again shut. And there goes my happiness.

I turned away from Joe and stared longingly out of the window where Liam and Zac were stood on the doorstep, clearly having just rung the doorbell.
