We pulled up at the park and I climbed out of the car along with Jayden and Liam.
Mason and Logan were still at work while Cole was at baseball and Noah was at his friend's house. That left me with my biggest asshole stepbrothers.
I followed Jayden and Liam, my gaze trying to find where we were going.
And then I saw it and immediately my face fell.
There were four guys on a basketball court, running around and shooting hoops. They all looked to be around Liam and Jayden's age and it was obvious that was where we were going.
What was this shit? I swear girls were basically non existent here.
I heard Jayden chuckle so I shot him a glare but the jerk just smirked at me!
"Get over it. You can just go on your phone or whatever," he shrugged.
"I didn't bring my phone," I growled, my voice laced with obvious annoyance.
"Well that sucks," Liam cut in with an obnoxious smirk plastered on his face.
I turned to face him properly and gave him the harshest glare I could muster. Unfortunately, it had the opposite of the desired affect.
A wide grin spread across Liam's face as he took note of my attempt at an intimidating expression. "Oh my God! Mason was right! You look adorable when you try to glare!" he laughed.
I rolled my eyes and looked away, deciding not to lower my IQ by talking to him.
We walked over to the court in silence and with each step I took, I felt more and more dread. What if these people were exactly like Jayden?
To be honest, if they were friends of the two I highly doubted I was going to like them.
I sighed as we stepped onto the tarmac, gaining the attention of the four guys.
They walked over to us and each did that bro hug thing with Liam and Jayden while I just stood off to the side awkwardly.
Finally, they finished and all looked over at me curiously.
"Who's the chick?" one asked and I scoffed. He had fairly long, dirty blonde hair which was swept to the side, nice cheekbones and green eyes. He was definitely like Jayden. I mean, what seventeen year old calls a thirteen (nearly fourteen) year old a chick?
I understood the fact that the guy didn't know my age, but if anything, I would have thought that he would have guessed that I was ten or something because I was pretty small for thirteen.
"Wait, I know you," a different boy said with his brows creased in concentration. He had messy brown hair and brown eyes.
I tilted my head to the side and stared at him for a moment. As far as I was aware, I'd never seen him before in my life.
"You were the one who Owen was talking to in the cafeteria," he said, staring at me intently.
"Owen Hale?" Jayden asked sharply and my head snapped over to look at him, seeing an angry expression covering his face.
"I thought Noah warned you to stay away from him," Liam growled.
"He came up to me!" I argued defensively.
"You two seemed to be hitting it off," the same guy who said he recognised me chuckled. I really needed to learn their names.
"Wait," a different guy said. He had black hair which was quiffed at the front and dark eyes. "You're in high school?"
