"Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Considering you have a massive closet and live in a mansion, you're clothes suck," Kaya snorted.

I let out a small, amused chuckle but still rolled my eyes playfully at her bluntness. How kind of her.

"This is cute," Sophie suddenly said from my right, and I twisted around to see her holding up a slightly cropped beige sweater I didn't even know i owned, as well as a simple, white tennis skirt.

"That's actually alright to be fair," I commented thoughtfully.

"That's so pretty!" she squealed excitedly, suddenly sprinting over to the shoe section in my closet and beginning to rummage through it.

Watching with raised eyebrows, I waited for Melody to find a pair she liked, and, within moments, she pulled something out.

Heels.

The last time I had worn a pair of high heels was at my dad and Jessica's wedding. And trust me. I was never making that mistake again.

By the end of the day, my feet were aching and sore. I also fell over six times and was extremely wobbly in them. I walked around barefoot as often as possible for the next week. It was then that I vowed never to wear those torture devices again.

"Nope. No way. I'll wear that outfit just not those shoes," I quickly negotiated, deciding that I would kick Noah out of the house if it meant I didn't have to wear those heels.

Melody let out a huff of annoyance but begrudgingly placed the shoes back down anyway, grumbling a 'fine' under her breath as she did.

"These would go well with that outfit and they're comfy," Maddie suggested from where she was stood by my other rack of shoes behind me. I twisted around to see that she was holding up a pair of comfortable looking white sneakers that would like great with my outfit.

"Those are perfect."

The car slowed to a stop and Devon glanced over to where I was nervously fiddling with the ring on my finger. The girls had made me look... Pretty. They had forced me to wear a silver necklace with a heart on the end of the chain and a rose gold and silver twisted ring. They'd also curled my hair slightly into beach waves and tied it in a half up half down hairstyle. They'd then done some simple base makeup before adding some lip gloss and nude eye shadow with eyeliner.

I was also wearing the outfit they had picked out which actually made me look quite good. It consisted of a white tennis skirt, oversized beige Nike sweater and a matching tote bag with a cute beige frog on.

I loved frogs.

Overall, I didn't really mind the outfit. It was cute.

I decided not to tell my brothers about Owen considering how protective they had seemed to become in our time becoming closer. Instead, I lied and told them I was going out to lunch with my friends. This did make me feel bad but I just wasn't ready to let them know. What was the point when it might not have led anywhere, anyway.

I had asked Devon to drop the girls and I off at the park since I didn't trust my brothers and cousins not to follow me and discover that I was on a date with a person they hated. Devon had been hanging out with Jayden at our house previously so he had volunteered to drop us off on his way back home.

We had collectively decided that we would all be dropped off at the park and then the girls would walk back to each of their houses. I would then be left alone there to go and find Owen so that we could have our date. As soon as it was over, I would text the girls what had happened and then call one of my brothers to pick me up.
