Lin:

Before we left for London, I had promised a romantic date to Julia. As a man of honor, I kept that pledge.

We were both getting ready on our own since we wanted to do an outfit/look reveal at the end. I was practically already ready. I had picked out a dark purple suit which, don't ask me how, just worked and it looked nice. I did my hair and put on my favorite cologne.

I waited in my room a few minutes until I heard Julia shout "Okay, I'm ready." She came in the bedroom and my jaw dropped to the floor.

"You look...just-" I was speechless for a few seconds. "Stunning. Absolutely stunning." She smiled as the compliment escaped my mouth.

"And you! Look at you! This suit looks incredible on you." She came over to me and I wrapped my arms around her waist. "Are you ready for the most funnest night of your life?" I asked and she chuckled. "Funnest isn't even a word."

"That's how fun it'll be." I pecked her lips and off we went to the surprise date. It was going to be so special, I could already feel it.

We started off with a dinner picnic at night, while stargazing. It was kind of chilly out, so I gave Julia my jacket. We set up the blanket on the grass and I pulled out some food for us to dish.

"Did you make these sandwiches? They're so good!" She said as she covered up her mouth with one of her hands. I could see the diamond ring I got her sparkle against the moonlight.

"I did, in fact, make these myself. Call me a chef or whatever." I rolled my eyes jokingly.

"Look at you learning how to make gourmet sandwiches. Gordon Ramsay has nothing on you."

"Cheers to that," I laughed at her remark while holding up my bottle of champage and we gave a toast.

After dining on my five course meal which again, (I proudly made myself!!), we started randomly talking and joking about the beginning of our relationship.

"Do you know how many times I had to practice asking you out in the mirror? That was an extreme sport." I looked back on the memories and she threw her head back in laughter.

"No way, you're kidding!" She said and I kept a straight face.

"You're not kidding." Her face dropped which just made us both laugh even more.

"I wish I was, but I'm not! I was so terrified to ask you out. You were like way out of my league." I admitted.

"What?! Me? I don't believe you." She shook her head before continuing. "The moment I met you I went home just thinking about you the whole time. I was like 'I just came face to face with a demigod, this can't be true!"

"You compared me to a demigod?! How could I ever thank you?" I put my hand up in my chest and she started chuckling even harder.

When we finished up the picnic, I took her to a special place. "Okay, I'ma need to blindfold you for this part." I said while I literally blindfolded her in the car.

"Are you going to kidnap me, Lin?" She joked.

"How did you know?" I asked dramatically. "Hopefully you remember this place." I said as I started the car.

When we got there, it was just like I remembered it. We were in the Richard Rodgers Theatre. But I wasn't just going to take her to the Broadway stage, no.

"Okay, we're here but I'm not going to take off the blindfold just yet." I said as I safely got her out of the car and walked her inside.

When we stepped inside the room, I guided her next to me and proceeded to take off the blindfold. "Alright, here." I mumbled and she gasped as she looked around.

"The room where it happened." She smiled as she took in the view.

Her Hamilton reference made me grin. "You remember?" I looked up to her eyes.

"How could I ever forget? My life was never the same after I stepped inside this audition room."

I brought Julia where we first met. And where we first fell in love. The Hamilton audition room.

"I walked in, feeling terrifyingly nervous. You were in the middle of Alex and Tommy. And I specifically remember walking in when you were laughing, looking down at the table." She started telling the story and I continued it for her.

"And the second I looked up to your eyes, I just knew there was something... special to you." I said.

She turned around, now facing me. "Helpless." She softly sang before leaning in and sealing my lips with a kiss.
