Lin:
"Is that the only way? Having tea with Cinderella?!" I grumbled as we all grew angry with Daveed's whines. We had just gotten off Haunted Mansion and he was too traumatized so the only way he could, apparently, calm down was to take him to see a princess and have tea with her.
"Not even Alexander got scared." Julia puffed, crossing her arms in front of her chest.
"Yeah, cause he's like what, ten months?!" He sassed back. She playfully gasped as she looked back at our baby boy who was peacefully sleeping on his stroller.
"Aye, careful who you're talking to!" Renée pointed a finger at Dav, being the protective aunt of our beautiful child.
Oh yeah, did I mention we were in Disneyland?

"Okay, now what? What's next on our list?" Jasmine pulled out the map and the brochures, as we tried picking a place to go. Being the indecisive asses we ever were, we could never pick a destination.
"Oh, oh, can we ride It's a small world?!" Jonathan gaped like a little kid.
"I guess we can go do that one. It's a classic after all," Leslie shrugged off. We all glanced at one another for approval, and for once, when no one disagreed, we decided on going.
When we got to the line, we were fortunate because we used our tickets. As if on cue, the dad of the group speaks out. "Thank God we're rich and we have fast passes." Chris rolled his eyes and our jaws dropped to the ground as we started cackling. "Chris!!" I scolded him. "Bad Washington!"
"Alright, who agreed on this ride?! It's creepy as hell." Daveed muttered as the boat kept merging its way onto the artificial water.
"You didn't complain when we were discussing where to go next." Anthony whisper yelled at him.
"Yeah, but imagine being stuck here. In the dark. At night. When no one else is in the entire park!"
"Shhh!!" The people in front of us shut Daveed up and I tried holding in my laughter but failed, that just caused Julia to giggle even more.
"I wanna get offffffff!" Now Groffsauce was whining. I swear our own 10 months old was more mature than this whole cast combined.
"WE CAN'T GET OFF WE STILL HAVE FIVE MORE CONTINENTS TO VISIT." My wife snapped back.
AS SHE SHOULD.
"Imagine being high while riding this." Oak whispered in a deep voice, making Anthony giggle.
"Is this what acid feels like?" Leslie furrowed his eyebrows as he gazed at the dolls.
The ride's eventually over, and of course, Daveed and Groff are the gladdest of them all. They just couldn't wait to get off.
We ended up getting some good dinner and then some churros with dulce de leche and vanilla bean ice cream, a masterpiece desert."The tea cups!!!!!" I reminded them I wanted to ride the attraction so they all approved, of course. It wasn't the greatest experience for me, however...
"I'M GOING TO VOMIT!" I yelled as I stepped out of the ride. Julia had to guide me to the trashcan cause I was basically gonna fall to the ground if no one helped me walk.
"We told you not to eat ice cream before going on the tea cups, but someone just couldn't listen now could they?" Daveed teased. They all found it amusing except for, well, me. But then I cackled a little bit.
Our little Alex quietly giggled at me and Julia bent down to reach his eye level. "What is it Alex? Does he look funny?" She laughed with him as he kept pointing towards me throwing up in the local trash can.
"Shit," I muttered, cleaning my mouth off with a napkin. I sighed, finally standing up, only to hear something... interesting.
"Shit! Shit!"
Julia froze, staring back at me.
Breaking off eye contact, we burst out laughing until our stomachs twisted in pain. "HIS FIRST WORD AND HE FREAKING CURSED THANKS TO YOU!" She kept laughing, and I did too, we looked like a couple of maniacs.
"Well, there you have it, Alex. Your psychotic parents who taught you your first curse word." Daveed turned to him. "Nothing wrong can go with you now."
After that, the HamFam, as well as all the couples, took cute pictures in front of the castle at night. Lia and I did the same with our matching Mickey and Minnie ears.
"Okay, where to?!" Renée interrogated us as we kept scrolling through the land. I gotta tell you, Disney at night is a whole other thing... It was stunning and it all felt so magical.
While they all chose the next destination, I turned to the love of my life.
"How about a kiss?" I snaked my arms around Julia's waist, she threw hers around my shoulders. She looked like she contemplated the question for a bit, in an adorable manner.
"In front of the castle?" She smirked.
"And below the sparking fireworks."
I gradually placed my lips on top of hers and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. My hand rested below her ear, my thumb caressing her cheek as our breaths mingled. She ran her fingers down my spine, pulling me closer until there was no space left between us. Julia could feel the beating of my heart against her chest. We pulled away, grinning at each other's presence. A little kid walked up to us, and she left us surprised by her query.
"Are you Jasmine and Aladdin?! Can I get a picture?!"
Julia and I stared at each other and chuckled lightly, "I'm afraid not, sweetie. But thank you for comparing me to Jasmine! She's a beautiful princess."
The little girl looked disappointed at first but then snickered. "You guys are cute." She shrugged. We gladly took the compliment seeing as though children tend to be brutally honest and not in a good way.
"Well, we may not be a Disney couple but this woman is definitely the princess in my life and my happy ever after." I cheesed, making both Julia and the girl smile.
