Julia:

"So, how'd you think the interview go?" Lin asks when we head back to the car. "I think we killed it," I shrugged and he laughed.

"We get the job done." He five highed my hand as I chuckled. His Hamilton references were always on point.

As we headed back home after absolutely crushing two interviews, we put some music on and jammed out in the car. This was probably my favorite part about out car rides. They were rarely quiet and constantly full of good jams.

When we got home, we were utterly surprised to say the least. We walked in and we saw the whole cast once again. "Surprise!" They yelled. "Well, not yet." Daveed laughed.

"We're here to tell you guys to get ready because we're taking you to your engagement party!" Daveed explained.

"Daveed! That was the whole secret!" Chris remarked and Daveed's face dropped. "Oh...oops!" He mumbled and we all laughed at his erroneous but hilarious mistake.

"You had literally one job, man." Anthony sighed.

"That's Daveed Diggs, everyone." Lin presented him and I started laughing.

"Since the surprise is already ruined...then go, go, go! Start getting ready for your party!" Renee rushed both Lin and I upstairs and we followed orders. We both went into our closets to pick out our outfits.

"Babe, what are you wearing?" Lin shouted in a groggy voice from across the hallway and I threw my head back in laughter at the way he just said that.

He ended up going to my closet and I showed him the outfit I had in mind. He told me he was going to find a shirt and pants that matched my fit so we could look even better.
"Damn, you're clever." He nodded his head with his eyebrows raised. Apparently the fact that I could pick a stylish outfit in less than three minutes really seemed to impress my fiancé.

"What can I say? I have a top-notch brain."

He giggled at my response and kissed my forehead, "Very true, very true."

"Now, go! We're gonna be late." I shooed him out of the closet and after a while, we were both dressed and ready to leave. We made our big entrance walking down the stairs, showing the cast our subtlety matching outfits.

"Look at you two!" Jasmine shouted.

"What a power couple!" Leslie said.

"Why, thank you, thank you." Lin put his hand over his chest as if he had just won a Tony.

"Are we ready to go and party or what?!" Renee said and we all cheered in response.

The little venue the cast rented out for the Engagement Party was incredible! All of our friends and family were here and it was sincerely one of the greatest nights of my life.

"Raise a glass to freedom, something you will never see again!" Daveed sang to Lin and I glared at him playfully.

"No matter what she tells you." Anthony slightly pointed at me and Lin and I scowled at him while laughing.

"Let's have another round tonight!"

Everyone keeps singing in unison and Lin looks at me the same way Hamilton looks at Eliza in Helpless. I melt as his face softens and we both lean in for a passionate kiss. "I love you. So. Damn. Much." He said in between pauses, resting his forehead against mine.

As I was about to reply, he suddenly looks past my shoulder. His face drops to a stone cold look. I furrow my eyebrows and when I look back at me, I see why he looked like his blood was about to boil.
