Julia:

I reminisced on the time when I would ask my mom what dreams were and what they meant. I was probably like five at the time. Maybe she gave me a concrete response back then, but now I'm sure of what the term fantasy means, because I'm living one as of right now. I was officially married to the man of my dreams. I was the luckiest woman on Earth.

"Okay, obviously, I'm going to start us off with the speeches because c'mon, my word's ability is unimpeachable." Daveed stood up and made the first toast.

"I wrote a rap." He blatantly said and I started chuckling at his monotonous choice of words.

"My name is Daveed, I am a poet,
I wrote a rap so it can fit Lin's wedding budget,
I'ma Julia and Lin shipper with pride,
If you talk shit about them I cannot let it slide."

"That's not your poem, that's plagiarism!!" Anthony shouted from all the way across our tables.

"WHAT HE SAID!" Lin yelled and we couldn't resist our fits of laughters.

"Alright, alright. So I may have stolen Lin's melody and half of his lines to write a Walmart version of a good wedding poem, but I still have a sorta meaningful speech to give." Daveed joked.

"Where do I start with these two? Here's their story: Lin had moved out to New York City to follow a dream. He wasn't looking for love, but he found it through Julia. They talked and talked and talked for hours, it was undeniable what they had. The cast and I even placed our bets once, remember? I had bet ten dollars that they would be together. So pay up, my brother." He pointed at Lin, causing us all to laugh.

"But in seriousness," He proceeded. "They were something extraordinary. Julia was a girl that moved to New York at the same exact time, and she was just out in the city seeking to audition. She wasn't looking for love either, but it found her." I started tearing up as I grabbed Lin's hand before Daveed kept talking.

"None of us knew what they had or how much it would have grown, but one thing was for certain, they wanted to be around each other. And that, my friends, is the power of love. Now they have a home, a dog of their own, and friends that are family.

"And now we're in New York, where else would I go? I'll be here beside you until we grow old." Lin said, focusing his gaze on me. Daveed smile before he finished his speech.

"In this world, there's no other person for Lin; and there's no other person for Julia. Whatever their souls are made of, Julia and Lin's are the same." (Yes I did just quote Wuthering Heights!🤧)

Lin quickly caught my tears before they rolled down my cheek. My heart didn't know how to comprehend all of these emotions. I just kept thanking God for every second of this night.

"As the second best man, I think I'll have to say a few words as well." Anthony joked. "Lin you took me in at a very young age, and without you, I wouldn't have half of what I have now. Then, I met Julia, the girl who made my fiancé one of the happiest and most joyful women on Earth. You two are gifts that just keep on giving, and without you two, the Hamilfam wouldn't be complete. I love you guys, you make our lives worth living." He choked up at the end, his voice cracking.

"And we love you, man!!!" Lin and I both exclaimed from our table as the cheers and applause ruptured once again.

A few short sermons later, we had our first dance, and then came the most fun part of them all, the actual partying. Lin and I weren't much drinkers, but hanging out with all our loved ones was definitely fun enough.

"Our wedding playlist is fire!!!" Lin yelled over the music and I laughed, nodding my head.

"Our music taste is immaculate!"

"I couldn't agree with you more. Come here, my beautiful wife!" He pulled me closer to him and we started dancing without a care in the world. This truly felt like the greatest night of my life. Not in a cheesy, cliché way, but in an honest way. Lin and I were one hundred percent ourselves tonight, just like every other day. And that's something I loved about us: The genuine.

Girls just wanna have fun started blasting and Jas, Renée, and I screamed at our favorite song. We ran to the middle of the dance floor and lived it up. Indeed, we looked like crazy psychopaths, but we were having so much fun while looking insane. Isn't that the point of life,
anyway?

After several songs after, we cooled down and Lin and I said some words before this magical night came to an end.

"Hello, hello, hello!" Lin spoke into the mic for testing. "As you guys know, Julia and I's vows will be said in private, because we just feel like that's something more personal to us. However, I did wanted to say some quick words because, come on!, that's my wife!!! Look at her, I hit the jackpot!"

I blushed and hid my face in his chest. "Words cannot describe how much I adore you." I whispered to him. He grinned and faced me:

(A/N: Marry You by Bruno Mars starts playing.)

"Julia, querida, when I asked you to be my girlfriend, I said I wanted you and your flaws, and your mistakes, and your smiles, and your giggles, and your jokes, and your sarcasm. When I asked you to marry me, I said the same thing. Two years later, here's me confirming that I still want you and all of you. Nothing has changed, except my growth of love for you. And yes, the ride may be tough and scary, but one thing I'm sure of is this: My life is going to be fine because Julia is in it."

All of the Helpless references tonight just made my heart melt completely, especially after Lin's speech. Once again, I had to catch my tears as they quickly fell.

Look at him. So. Damn. Beautiful.

I love you, I mouthed before grabbing another microphone and adding to the speech.

"Lin-Manuel Miranda." I sighed, beaming from ear to ear. "I think we can all confirm I was head over heels before I even met you! So the fact that you chose me never ceases to amaze me. Knowing I'm yours everyday makes me want to get up in the mornings. Not one day goes by that I don't thank God for putting you in my life. Not only do I love you for what you are, but for who I am when I am with you. I love you in ways you've never been loved. I love you for motives you've never been told. I love you for longer than you think you deserved and with more than you will ever know existed inside me."

He pulled me in with both his hands resting on my cheeks.

"Good or bad." I looked up to his eyes.

"All or nothing." He kissed my lips one last time.
