Julia:
"IDIOT JAR!" Carefully trying not to awake Alexander, I whisper-yelled at Lin.
"What?! Again?!" He protested quietly. I made a are you serious face and he sighed, putting a dollar inside the mason jar, automatically planting a smirk on my face."Just be thankful the little cute devil went back to sleep." He said as we left the baby's room and walked into our living room, plopping down on the couch. We had the monitor set up so we could obviously watch our precious, yet playful, kid.
Don't get me wrong, Alexander was precious. As soon as I was able to hold him in my arms, I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. Literally, the nurse had to practically tear him out of my strong hold. I was so protective of him, He was mine. He was ours.
However, he has been acting up these past few weeks after coming home. But then again, what baby wouldn't?
"Yeah, genius, because I calmed him down." I joked, responding to Lin's remark. He playfully rolled his eyes as he plopped his head down in my lap. I chuckled at his effort, "And what are you tired of now, Mr. Idiot?"
"That's a pretty offensive nickname, but coming from you, it's charming."
"You make absolute no sense sometimes."
"And that's exactly why you married me." He got up from my lap and locked my lips with a quick kiss. "You're not wrong." I shrugged. Getting up from our couch, we walked hand in hand to our master bedroom.
We got ready for a pretty cute activity we've been planning these past few weeks. Sure, we were officially each other's legal significant other on paper, but we wanted to establish it on a deeper level.

"It's just going to take like three minutes!" I tried solacing my frightened husband of the black tattoo ink. This clearly didn't work out. He just got freaked out even more. "So, two more minutes?!" He grumbled, seeing as only one minute had passed.
"Yes, you can do math."
My humor didn't seem to comfort him either. "Almost finished..." The tattoo artist warned Lin. "Aaaaand...Done!" He was done with his slight, but meaningful masterpiece. He wiped off the excess ink before letting him see it. "Wow, it's beautiful." He examined the small tattoo once it was done. "Ready for yours?" His stares smiled at mine.
"Born ready."
Obviously, with the fact that I don't get scared of a tiny needle, it helped speed the process up a bit faster. In less than two minutes, I was done.
"Look at that." I whispered, placing my hand next to Lin's. "Do you like it?" He asked me. "I love it and I love you."
Even after almost three years, I could still make him blush with lesser statements like that.
Later that night, we had driven down to the Richard Rodgers to meet up with the Hamilton cast. We were supposed to reunite with everyone because Tommy and Andy were gonna surprise us with official news. However, since I'm married to the creator and star of the show, I think I know what the surprise is...
Alexander was safe and sound with Jane, a nanny we've known for quite a long time and is able to take care of him when we have to be away for a work night like today.
"What do you think the cast is gonna think?" Lin darted his face over to mine as we pulled over to the theater.
"Well, Groffsauce will definitely want one with your name on it." I made him laugh out loud, maybe a little too much.
"And there's no doubt on Earth I'd get his face tattooed on my forehead."
"I wouldn't be shocked. Dissapointed? Perhaps. Shocked? Never." I nodded my head.
"There they are!" The Hamilcast received us with cheers and applauses as we walked in.
"How is A. Blake doing?!" Daveed ran over to ask us. Let's just say Dav was already obsessed with Alex, and practically gave him a nickname and everything.
"He's doing great, he's amazing." I smiled.
"Have you done the thing where like Lin goes Son and then Alex responds I'm notcha son?" Dav joked and we chuckled at his Hamilton reference.
"Daveed, he's barely one."
"So?"
"He can't talk." I added.
"Yeah but he's a product of the two most talkative people I know on this planet so I'm surprised he hasn't spat out a word already."
We rolled our eyes jokingly. "You do have a point." Chris joined in.
"Anywhooooooo," I trailed off and Lin got the hint. "Oh, yes!" He mumbled. "Guys, lo and behold, our new tattoos!" He exclaimed and we showed our left hands to everyone. Before anyone could react, Leslie asked, "What's that?"
"We got a permanent parking spot of each other...in our engagement ring fingers."
We showed them the L that was in my finger, and the J that was in Lin's finger. Everyone was overwhelmed with cuteness and of course, Groff pulled up to say just exactly what I thought he was going to say. "Here's mine!"
"Groff, buddy, I hate to expose you, but you just happened to grab a sharpie and draw my initial in your finger..." Lin said slowly, everyone chuckled.

Coming back home, we said goodbye to the nanny we asked to come, Jane. She did an incredible job taking care of our little Alexander while we were gone.
And additionally, apparently I was right. Tommy and Andy broke down the news Lin already had told me about: The Hamilton OBC was reprising their roles early next year, right after Jazzy and Ant's wedding.
Alexander fell asleep in between Lin and I. Toby slept at the foot of our bed.
We were all cuddled up, like the family we dreamed to have when we were once teenagers.
"Wow. When did we go from being the kids in our parent's bed to being the parents in the bed?" Lin begged after staring me with moral admiration sparkling in his brown orbs.
