Lin:

"LOOK AT HOW CUTE MY WIFE LOOKS WITH A BABY BUMP!" I yelled as I opened our bedroom window and took the view of the lovely Brooklyn Bridge.

"Who are you shouting at?"

"New York City, duh."

Julia wandered over me as my back faced her and she fastened her arms around my waist. I grinned against her as she nuzzled her head on the nape of my neck. "I take it you're excited for today?"

I twirled around, "Very much so." I kissed her forehead and shot up my eyebrows. We couldn't quit smiling. The day was finally here: we were going to see our baby for the first time. Feelings were practically all over the place.

I nod my head towards our bedroom door, "Lesgo, we have a kid waiting for us to see." I winked at Julia and snatched her hand, leading her outside.

This was gonna be an eventful day, to say the least. Not only were we going to see our baby through an ultrasound, but we were going out later tonight with the HamFam to pair up Daveed with a girl. Talk about it being a busy day.

"I'D SPEND TEN THOUSAND HOURS AND TEN THOUSAND MORE,"

"OH IF THAT'S WHAT IT TAKES TO LEARN THAT SWEETHEART OF YOURS," I sang with my wife on our way to the clinic. Windows down, hair in our faces, volume up, glancing at each other with 'I'm in love with you' faces. Yeah. Nothing better than this.

I lowered the volume a bit when Julia was about to speak up, "The poor baby already wondering what the hell is up with its weird parents jamming on their way to a pregnancy check-up," She fooled and I snickered.

When we entered the clinic, we anxiously held hands as we were greeted by our doctor. "You ready?" I asked, turning my head to glimpse at her. She quickly nodded with a huge grin on her face. That makes two of us.

"Welcome back, Mr. and Mrs. Miranda."

"Mr. and Mrs. Miranda, that sounds hot!"
I whispered to Lia, wiggling my eyebrows as she shook her head, giggling.

"Hi, Mrs. Miller, how are you?" She asked as we sat down in her office.

"I'm doing great! I can tell you two are super excited to just see that baby of yours already."

"Who knew she could read our minds?" I joked, making both of them chuckle.

"Alright, I'll just have you two come into the other room so we can perform the ultrasound, sounds good?"

"Yep!" We said at the same time, following right behind the doctor. Julia looked absolutely fine, meanwhile on the other hand, I was panicking. How do ultrasounds even work?!

They lay her down in the chair and start applying this cream to her stomach. I look at the cream with interest on my face.

"Does it hurt? Does it itch? Is it sticky?" I kept mouthing to Julia, but she just tried to hold in her laughter as she kept shaking her head no. Why was I so worried? I'm not even the one who is pregnant.

After a few minutes, the consultant starts breaking down all the information. And before we know it, our beautiful baby is projected on the small TV.

I bring my hands up to my face, slightly gasping. I look over at Julia and squeeze her hand as my eyes water, doing our secret handshake. Whenever we wanted to let the other know how in love we were at the moment, we would squeeze the other's hand twice. (Reference: Chapter Sixteen)

That was our tiny person in there. I was at awe, I couldn't believe it.

"Would you like to know the gender of the baby?" The doctor snapped us both back into reality. OF COURSE, WE WOULD.

Obviously, Julia and I had already talked about this and we wanted to know the gender before she went into labor. Let's see who's gonna win the bet.

"Alright, give me just a second." Mrs. Miller gathered her papers and after looking through our file, she returned our answer. "You will be expecting a healthy, beautiful baby boy."

"No way!" We both said at the same exact time, grinning so hard. "AHHHHHH!!!" I slightly whisper yelled as I leaned down to kiss Julia. "Can you believe it?! Our own baby boy." She smiled as she positioned a hand on her bare stomach, while I placed mine on top of hers. I swear to God my wife and my kids will never feel so helpless.

Later that night, we went out to dinner with the cast to commemorate our first ultrasound of the baby. And to kill two birds with one stone, we picked a place that was holding speed dates. This way, we could trick Daveed into coming with us so he could do speed dating and possibly find a soulmate. Possibly.

"Table for...ten, please." I glanced back at all of us. Now that I think about it, we really are a big family. Before we were sat down at our table, we grabbed Daveed and led him to the speed dating area.

"Uhh, what's this?" He looked back, pointing at all the people chatting in tables.

"We took you to speed dating!" Groff exclaimed, clapping his hands excitingly.

"Now, as you sit back and talk to possible candidates that could fill your significant other status, we will be having dinner. Enjoy!" Julia explained and slightly pushed Daveed into the crowd of people as we started cracking up. He looked so damn frightened.

We settled back down at our big table and just stared at Daveed speaking with different girls the entire time. It was truly hilarious.

"Five bucks he actually ends up with someone after tonight." Chris laid a five dollar bill on the table.

"You're on." I shook his hand.
