Julia:

"Babyyyyyyyyyyyy, what's a synonym for said?" Lin asked lazily from the couch. His eyes were stuck to the computer as his legs hung from the coffee table.

"Declared, announced, assumed, added, admitted, want me to keep going?" I sipped from the mug in my hand as I walked over to him and took a seat on the comfy couch.

"Bless your smart soul." He displayed his lips out dramatically and I chuckled, bending down to kiss them. I sighed, sitting down. We've both been working from home the entire day on different projects.

I was memorizing lines and doing video tape auditions, he was writing a new musical while also finishing some songs for Moana. This man is non-stop.

"Take a break?" I pleaded with pretty cute puppy eyes. He immediately closed his laptop, turning his full attention to me. "For you, always."

"Wow, Hamilton would be impressed." I shifted my weight, sitting on one leg.

"I guess he really could take some lessons from me."

"After all we both know what happened to him when he didn't take a break." I shrugged.

"Only in my case, I could never do that to you." He grinned. This man was too cute.

"Oh, I'm flattered." I fooled, "Okay, question!"

"Shoot." He snapped his index finger at me.

"What are we dressing up as for Halloween?"

"Hmm, let's see our options. Halloween had already passed when we first met, but then on our second year we dressed up as Lilo and Stitch."

"Lilo and Stich." We answered at the same time.

"Yes, THAT WAS SO CUTE." He gushed and I looked up, smiling. "Tell me about it. Remember how many pictures Daveed and Groff took of us?!"

"How could I forget, they took over my camera roll. But you were in them so I did not complain at all. Speaking of which, has Dav said anything about the girl he met on the speed dating thing last week?!" He asked like an inquisitive father. Oh, what am I kidding, he's already a father to his future son.

"Not to me, at least. But I think they hit it off pretty well if I do say so myself." I bit my cheek.

"I just hope he finds someone good for him. He's way too tired of third wheeling."

I laughed, "I don't blame him. Alright, so," I clasped my hands together, "Already did Lilo and Stitch, what do you recommend this year? I picked our costumes last Halloween, it's only fair you choose this time."

"Oh, oh, oh!!" He exclaimed excitingly. "We could do like that couple from Grease? I'd have a leather jacket and everything!!"

"And I can wear red lipstick!"

"You look hot with it." He said blatantly, making me choke up with laughter.

"BAHAHAHA, OOPS." He slapped my upper back, trying to help me with my fits of cough and laughter mixed together. After I somehow regained myself and swallowed some water, Lin spoke up like a child.

"Can we go get them now?!"

"Hell, let's do it. That's our work break for today."

"Lia, Lia, Lia, Lia, babe, babe, babe, babe." Lin wouldn't stop poking my side until I turned to him. "Yes?!" I giggled, facing him. "Can we get a lightsaber?" He pulled one out out of nowhere.

"That wasn't even in this aisle... what the?" I muttered as I turned around, glancing at all the products.

"Oh, yes, I know. I just ran down to aisle fourteen to get it. So, can we buy it?" His eyes lit up and there was no way on Earth you could say no to that face.

"You already have six," I joked, putting my hands on the sides of my hips.

"So now I'll have seven." He shrugged like it was nothing and I just stood there shaking my head, laughing at the little shit in front of me.

"Gimme' that." I plopped it in our shopping cart.

"Now, where are the costumes?" He skimmed his eyes through the store.

"Uh, babe," I called him out. He swiveled around, "Mhm?"

"They're everywhere. We're in a costume store."

After gazing through, basically the whole shop, we ended up getting two similar costumes from the movie Grease. Our favorite part was of course buying the matching leather jackets. I mean come on they're glorious.

We bought all our stuff and headed out, only to find out it was raining. "Why is it always pouring rain when we go out?!" I groaned, slightly smiling. Lin, on the other hand, took advantage of this opportunity.

"We're probably stuck in a love movie. Come on!" He sprinted into the rain with no cares in the world.

"Mi amor, we're gonna get sick!" I whined. I didn't want to get my hair wet.

"YOLO! Hold my hand or I'll dieeee," He yelled out dramatically, only making me want to join him even more.

"Fuck it," I dropped the bags and ran into the avenue with him. Again, time stopped whenever I was with this man. I reached for his hand and he snatched me in, engulfing me with his vast guarding arms.

"Are you gonna kiss me, or what?" He sneered.

Lin was my reminder to enjoy life. Sometimes it's hard to stop when you live your life endlessly chasing things. Love, dreams, success, time. But people like him, make me halt and see the beauty in simple things. Like waking up to his chaotic hair or getting showered by his kisses. He teaches me to love life, just as much as I love him.

(A/N: Next chapters are gonna be so exciting to write! Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Lia going into labor, Jaz and Ant's wedding, AHHH. If you're still reading this story I LOVE YOU.)
