Julia:

After two full weeks of rest, I was back and better than ever. I never recognized the power of resting when it comes to healing your body until now. Though the medications were causing me to be completely out of it, Lin was taking care of me the whole time, so I was great.

Speaking of my outstanding husband, since he was going to be out today with Tommy and Alex composing some demos for a new project they're working on, I scheduled to go out with Jas and Renée.

I strolled downstairs to see Lin waiting for me while he was playing with Tobi on the couch. "Stunning woman!" He jabbered as he stood up.

"And you wearing beanies is my greatest weakness. You look remarkable."
I grinned as he grabbed my elbow and pressed his lips onto mine. Even in just a pair of t-shirts and jeans, did my man look incredible. We linked hands and stepped outside, saying bye to Tobi.

As we were both about to go into our separate cars, we gave each other one last kiss. "Don't miss me too much!!" He screamed like a dork, causing me to laugh. "Already do!" I shouted back.

"My girls!" I entered Jasmine's apartment since we were meeting up there. Both Renée and Jas nearly attacked me with the biggest hug history has ever seen.

"I missed you." I breathed as I let go of them, but still holding their extended hands.

"We've missed you too. I'm glad that you finally recovered." Jas smiled.

"Trust me, me too. You don't know what full-on bed rest can do to your body."

After small talking a bit, we headed over to the kitchen and agreed on making some chicken pasta. We got all the ingredients out and began simmering some water.

I sat up on the breakfast island, as we waited for the gas to heat up. "Okay, spill." I pointed towards Jas and she knew precisely what I was referring to. Renée, on the other hand, did not.

"The wedding." I wiggled my eyebrows and Renée gasped. "Oh my gosh, spill." She glimpsed at Jasmine.

"Well..." She dragged out. "We're intending on getting married by early next year."

I gasp at the excitement of one of my best friends getting married. I can't believe the wedding is gonna be so soon. "Have you planned anything yet?! Like when you're going dress shopping or have you discussed ideas for a honeymoon?" I implored.

"Well, thank goodness you asked because I almost forgot to bring it up. Julia, Renée," She turned to us and hesitated for a second, "Would you guys like to go dress shopping with me?"

"Absolutely!" Renée and I both announced at the same time, while I jumped off the counter and gave her a huge hug.

"I cannot believe we're all gonna be married so soon!" Jasmine blurted. This was so surreal. Renée got married before she even joined the cast, so it was kind of sad that we didn't know her soon enough to share that part of her life. I got wedded to my dream man and these two women got to witness it, and now Jasmine is the last of us to tie the knot. I can't acknowledge the fact that we've all settled down already.

After talking some more and completing the cooking process, we dug into the food like there was no tomorrow. Seriously, we were starving.

"Proposal!" I clapped. "We should drop out of Hamilton to become full time chefs."

Jas pointed her fork at me, "Now that my friend, is a notion coming out of a genius brain."

"Cheers!"

"I am literally so full." Renée sighed as we laid down on the couch and scrolled through Netflix, attempting to find a movie to watch.

I, on the other hand, was practically curled up in a ball next to the corner of the couch, wrapped in a blanket. My nausea was even more horrible then it was last week and I felt a fever rising in me.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Jas questioned as she sat down next to me. I groaned, "I've had this horrible nausea and I've just been feeling so exhausted and weak these days."

"Well, you look terrible," She proceeds to bring her hand up to my forehead, "Julia, you're literally burning." She mumbled with concern all over her face. "What else are you feeling?"

"Just really bad overall." I retorted in honesty. You know when you just feel like complete shit? Yeah, me, right now.

"You don't think...?" Renée snuck a glimpse at Jasmine.

"You don't think what?" I queried, altering my seating position.

"Uhm." She cleared her throat. "Have you...missed your period, by any chance?"

"Well, it's been pretty late these days, but I've always been irregular so I don't think it mattered?" I shrugged my shoulders.

"Psst, do you have your car?" Jasmine whisper-yelled to Renée. She nodded in response as they both started standing up. "Wait, where are we going?" I asked.

"To CVS. We're getting you a pregnancy test."

I shot up my eyebrows in the highest direction. "Wait, what? Guys, you don't think I'm pregnant..." I trailed off. "Do you?" I begged again as they both gazed at me with vacant faces.

"Aw, this one looks cute!" Jasmine exclaimed, picking out one of the boxes from the aisle.

"Jas, we're just getting a pregnancy test, it doesn't have to be a hard decision. Just pick the cheapest!" I giggled. They have been deciphering which test to buy based on what packaging looks cuter on the outside.

"Ooh, how about this one?!" She still didn't listen to me.

"They all get the job done!" I answered.

"Here," I picked one up and threw it in Renée's cart.

"Just FYI, you grabbed the one with the ugliest packaging." Jasmine fooled and I rolled my eyes jokingly. "I'm sure I did, Jas."

Just in case, we ended up getting two of the same tests. The girls both hurried me into the bathroom so that I could do my business and get the test over with already.

I was feeling all types of sentiments. Like, what if I am pregnant? Imagine a tiny Julia and Lin running around our apartment. IMAGINE HOW CUTE THAT WOULD BE!

But at the same time, what if I was pregnant? I don't know how to be a mother, right? Do I even have the qualities to be one? Will Lin still love me if he finds out I'm pregnant? I'm positive he will because come on, he's Lin. And we've also talked about having kids billions of times. But are we ready for that? Am I ready for that?

These concerns took ownership of my mind as soon as I positioned the two tests down on the countertop of Jasmine's bathroom. I anxiously waited a few minutes, pacing around the room, biting my nails even though I don't actually bite them on the regular. I was paranoid. And maybe even excited.

I realized that the six minutes were up.

I reach for the tests, tossing them over so I can see the results...
