Julia:

This past month has been filled with nauseating nights and awful mood swings. I feel terrible for Lin since he has to put up with this version of me for the next eight months, but I can tell he doesn't mind. In fact, he likes taking care of me, which is just reason #2863155138 of why I married him.

We were heading over to our first official pregnancy appointment, I guess you could say. We knew my gynecologist was going to ask a ton of questions and run a lot of tests, so we arrived mentally prepared. But, it was all going to be worth it, because from now on, the official pregnancy countdown was about to begin.

"I made a compilation of cheesy songs that make me think of you, wanna hear?" Lin perked his head towards me, and my brows shot up in awe.

"You did not." I shook my head with the largest grin on my face.

"Oh, yes I did."

"That's like the most adorable and heart-wrenching, (in a cute way), thing anyone has ever done for me!" I beamed. He cackled as he started back at the highway, pressing the playlist button from his phone.

The first song that started playing was Best Part by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. I immediately melted as the initial chords began sounding throughout the car.

"If live is a movie, then you're the best part." We lifted our hands up to our chests, clenching them dramatically, as we sang to each other. In this minor moment, I acknowledged how fortunate I was to be living in this fairytale.

"She asked so many questions like it was a celebrity interview!" Lin fooled as we got back from our Obgyn appointment. He wasn't wrong though. We had to reply to like a million inquiries. After that, I had my checkup, and then my blood work was done.

But around two hours later, my gynecologist, Dr. Miller, had calculated the two dates necessary to confirm when I was going into labor. Doing this, she had ultimately corroborated the due date for my pregnancy: March 10.

And in just three more weeks, we were expecting to see the ultrasound of the baby. I could already tell this was gonna be such a huge milestone for both Lin and me, getting to catch sight of our little baby and even know what the gender is.

Us being practical children, we agreed to put bets on what gender we thought it was gonna be. I was betting on a girl and, of course, Lin was chancing on a beautiful baby boy. Whoever lost would treat the other for dinner. Either way, we were gonna be so joyous, whether it was a boy or a girl.

"Baby, where are we eating?" Lin snapped me back to reality, as he glimpsed at me for a second before deflecting his stare back to the road.

"You seriously wanna ask me that question after we're both blatantly conscious of my disastrous reputation at making decisions?"

"Good point, I'll pick." He rapidly nodded and we giggled at each other. We ended up finding a restaurant that was literally right in front of the beach. It was lovely, the lights made it feel cozy and it helped reflect the moonlight.

"Hi! Table for two please," I smiled at the waiter and she grabbed two menus, leading us to a table in the back. We thanked her as we sat down in front of each other.

"How come we've never been here before?" I mumbled, looking out to the beautiful crystal waters

"How come we've never been here before?" I mumbled, looking out to the beautiful crystal waters.

"Right?! This place is unreal. It reminds me of home."

"Puerto Rico?" I smiled, he nodded with a cute manner on his face. "I can't wait to take you there with me."

"I bet it's paradise." I breathed out.

"Baby, it's the epitome of paradise. It's like... Jonathan Groff holding a puppy." He tried giving an illustration of paradise and I threw my head back in laughter.

"Your example of paradise might not be what I had envisioned in the first place." I scrunched up my nose.

"Was it the Groffsauce part for you?" He cringed.

"Yeah, yeah it was." I giggled.

"Yeah? Yeah?" He nodded and started chuckling at the same time I was responding, causing our laughs to overlap with one another.

The waiter came back and we were too busy cracking up with each other that we forgot to even take a look at our menus. Oops. Is this what happens when you're too in love with the person in front of you?

After ultimately taking a look at our menus, we contemplated our judgments for a second before ordering. Lin got ceviche while I just ordered a dinner salad. While we waited for our food, we discussed our future work plans.

"Baby!" He almost choked while he drank his glass of water, quickly recalling something. "Remember how I've always said that I wanted to take you to Puerto Rico?!"

I nodded as I waited for his response, taking a bite out of the appetizers.

"Well, I talked with Tommy and Alex, and we're...officially... bringing Hamilton to PR!"

"What?! That's incredible! Wait, are you reprising the role?" I begged with enthusiasm.

"Bingo! That's my smart woman. I wanted to ask you if you wanted to reprise the role with me?"

Now I nearly choked on my water, I almost screamed of excitement. "Oh my God, I would be honored!"

"Great because I already told Tommy you'd do it." He kidded, sticking his bottom teeth out.

"Lin-Manuel, is this like the strategy you played out for our six month anniversary?"

"I was kinda' hoping you wouldn't catch on to that." He tossed his head back, as we laughed at one of our inside jokes.

I remembered the six-month anniversary scenario like it was yesterday. We had just gotten home from work and as we sat on the couch, Lin told me he had an idea for our six month anniversary date. It was a trip to the spa, but the catch was that he did what he always did: He planned out everything and still asked me what I wanted to do for our anniversary even though he clearly knew we were gonna do his date idea anyway.

Lin clasped ahold of my hand, leading me to the sand when we had finished eating. The atmosphere was flawless, the tides were crashing against the rocks, the sand faultlessly soft, and some distant music playing in the background. He snatched his arms around my waist as I snaked mine around his neck. He drew tiny circles on my back with his fingers, inducing chills to spiral down my spine. We felt like teenagers almost, as if we were on the first date or reaching for that first kiss.

"Dance with me and pretend the world doesn't exist," He pleaded.

And after that, there was no going back.

(A/N: This chapter is named after Lin and Lia, because all they need in order to fall in love with each other again is to lock eyes. These two characters have my whole heart.)
