Julia:
"Can this baby come off already?! It's been freaking months! Or can it at least stop giving me so many contractions? What did I do to deserve so many kicks to the stomach?!"
Lin, once again, is there to calm my mood swings. He chuckles at my comments as he runs a hand through my now, big tummy. "Just four more weeks. One more month, you got this. You're the strongest woman I know. Look at where you are, and look at where you started."
"The fact that I'm alive is a miracle." I continued the Hamilton reference as I rolled my eyes. I was so sick of the pregnancy sickness, all I wanted to do was have my child already. He chuckled, bringing his lips up to my forehead.
Thirty six freaking weeks. It's been months filled with insomnia, throwing up, really strange food cravings, and a lot of mood swings. I mean a lot. I don't know how Lin can handle me, to be really honest with you. I just admire him for it, to say he's patient with me is an understatement.
"Just think of it as..." He contemplated. "Just think of it as you're four weeks away from bringing our baby boy home. You'll be able to hold him in your arms, and soon enough he'll be a tiny mix of Lin and Julia running around. How cute would that be?"
"And how annoying will that be. I mean, have you seen us? You're a frustrated musician and I'm a sarcastic actress who thinks is a comedian." I fool and he throws his head back, laughing. "But seriously," I smile for a minute. "I cannot wait to meet him."
"Me neither..." Lin trailed off. "Which reminds me!"
"Mhm?" I perked up at his eyes until he took notice of them.
"We need to name him." He reminded me. Oh gosh, don't remind me. Naming your child is as stressful as it sounds. Considering his parents are two indecisive idiots.
I groaned slightly. "Can't his name stay the same?! Like baby boy or him?"
"Technically, yes, but him is a pronoun."
"So?" I shrugged. "It'll be unique?"
"We can't name our son after a pronoun!"
"I can. I carried him for eight months." I pursed my lips as I waited for his reaction.
"Case closed. You win." He giggled and I bitterly flipped my hair, knowing I had won yet another argument. "But, I've been wondering and I think we should name him after the name you suggested last week."
"Really?!" My husband's eyes lit up with excitement and enthusiasm. I loved whenever he did this. His brown orbs would actually sparkle when he was passionate about something.
"Yes!" I reached for his hand and held it in mine.
"You liked it?!" He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was surprised at me liking the name because he thought it was too strange or uncommon.
"Yes, I did! It was one of my favorites, actually." I spoke truthfully. It had a nice, unique ring to it.
"So, do we officially have a name for the baby...?" He tilted his head, praying the answer to that question was a yes.
"I think we do." I grinned.

Turns out, I ended up coming up with another name for the baby, so Lin and I were trying to decide between the two. Luckily, the HamFam was there to help out. Or, maybe just there.
"Who has the chicken lo mein?!!" Anthony screamed from across the theater.
"Can you not? You're screaming and I'm actually right next to you, if you couldn't notice." Oak sighed while he ate some fried rice.
"The lo mein was literally behind you." Renée glanced her eyes over at Anthony.
"Ohhhhhhhh. Oops." He giggled like a child.
"Okay, I call this meeting to order! Pretend I have court gavel or something." I announced as I stood up from the stage. We may or may not have been dishing on Chinese food at the Richard Rodgers for the past hour because there were no shows today...
"Okay, I imagined you slammed the gavel. Keep going." Groffsauce gestured for me to carry on with his hands.
"Alright, thank you for your use of imagination. It was useful for once." I nod. "The case today: Lin and I trying to find a common ground for the name of our baby boy."
"Just name it Daveed and you're done! It's original, it's unique, and guess what?" Dav asked as we all remained silent. "It's named after me!" He shouted from one of the chairs as he had one of his legs raised up while eating a bowl of noodles. I now realize he holds the same sass just like Jefferson in the musical.
"That's a terrible idea!" Lin simply yelled back.
"Sorry Dav." I shrugged. "So, I'll ask my handsome husband to join me on this stage." I asserted loud and clear and Lin jogged towards me like a puppy.
"You ready?" He implored and I beamed as I nodded my head yes. Agreeing on the name of the baby was going to be difficult, so we figured out a way to choose easily.
"If he wins, we'll name the baby his way. If I win, we'll name the baby my way." I explained to everyone as Lin and I sat back down in two black chairs with a table in front of us. We positioned our arms in the table, ready to begin.
"This is one of the biggest decisions of your lives and you're going to arm wrestle for it?!" Chris raised his hands up, arguing.
"Why not?" Lin smirked.
