"Alright, guys. Time for bed." Jason's soft and gentle voice can be heard from behind the two giggling Littles.
Nick turns around and pouts at Jason. "Aw.. but me wanna play some more..." While saying this he made sure to give Jason the cutest puppy eyes he could muster.
Jason paused for a minute as he saw the cute look on the younger's face, he wanted to just spoil that cute little ball of fluff so much until he feels like he got all the love he deserved from this cruel world.
But Jason knew better. Spoiling a child isn't going to make them learn or become behaved, it'll only lead to disaster as they become even more of a brat.
"It's already late, bub. You need sleep." Jason said, not falling for the younger's cute act.
The younger pouted even more but obliged.
"Let me borrow you some of my PJs, pick whatever you want." Carson led Nick to his wardrobe and let him pick some PJs he could wear for the night.
Nick's eyes widen as it sparkled, the PJs he saw was just so colorful and it made him sort of excited to see it.
"I want dis one.." He mumbled as he points at a PJ he likes.
Carson happily hands it over to Nick while saying, "Go and get changed in that bathroom over there. After that, we can finally go to sleep." Carson yawns as he slight pushes Nick towards his bathroom.
Nick goes inside and changes.
Jason in the other hand decided to just sleep in his current clothes, because why not.
"Uhm, where can I sleep?" Jason asked the Little who was getting into bed.
Carson looked up and pointed to his left. "There's a guest room beside my room, you can sleep there." Carson explained.
Jason nodded, still not leaving Carson's doorway.
Carson tilted his head to the side. "You aren't going yet?.." He asked, curious.
Jason didn't know either why he still wasn't leaving.
"I, uh," He was having a hard time making up an excuse for himself.
"You want to tuck Nick in and say goodnight?" Carson said, covering his body up with a fluffy blanket.
Jason nodded almost immediately. "Yeah, yeah.. that."
Nick goes out of the bathroom wearing those cute PJs he picked with a big smile on his face. "These are so soft and comfy! I love 'em!" He exclaimed happily as he goes to Carson's bed.
Jason couldn't help but smile as he saw the younger so happy.
He walked up to Carson's bed where Nick and Carson were now lying and tucked Nick in.
Nick blushes slightly at the action but stays quiet.
Carson whoever was looking at both of them with a mischievous smile.
He saw how Nick was blushing, and saw how Jason practically look at his younger step-brother with heart eyes.
Carson smiles fo himself and looks away, facing the other side.
Jason crouches down to Nick's level and smiles. "Goodnight, bub." He says in a very soft voice while gently caressing Nick's head.
Nick looks at Jason's face and his heart couldn't help but skip a beat at the handsome face inches away from his.
"G-goodnight.." Nick answers back, flustered.
Jason plants a kiss on Nick's forehead before standing up and leaving the room.
