Is that my shirt?

Annabeth's belongings were best described as scattered at the moment. There were books on couches, pillows on counters, and she was pretty sure that was a pair of sneakers on the ceiling fan. All things considered, it was not bad for moving day.

She took a deep breath and looked around at all the work to be done. Just last month, Percy had got down on one knee stuttering on his words, but sure of his intentions. Now she had a thin, elegant ring and a brand new apartment just for the two of them. All her boxes and assorted things had been toted up six floors, down the hallway, and into number 617. All their friends had come out to help and celebrate the next chapter of their lives.

Right now, it was just her and Percy in the apartment. Jason, Piper, and Leo had gone to this new sushi restaurant. Grover and the rest were all coming back later for dinner. Will and Nico happened to be on a date in China but they would be back.

Annabeth heaved a box of pictures off the couch and went into the bedroom. "Percy," she yelled. "Where's the dresser? We said these were going on top."

There was a muffled thud as he set something down in the bathroom. "Uhhh I thought Jason and Frank brought it up here?"

"Oh no," she muttered and went to the windowsill. There was the lovely dresser Sally had given them out on the street in front of the building. Some homeless dude was opening the drawers and picking at the handles.

Annabeth snatched her shoes off of the fan and hollered at Percy. "Come on Kelp Head. It's out on the street!"

Her fiance poked his head around the corner. "But I was about to test the bathtub!" And indeed he was in swim trunks and nothing else. But Annabeth was already headed toward the door.

"Just throw anything on and come help!"

She took the stairs two at a time, waved to the attendee at the door, and glared at the homeless man. Annabeth knew what it was like to be homeless but she never looked like she was about to steal dresser knobs. He scurried away muttering obscenities and ducked down the street.

Now for the task at hand. Moving the dresser up into the apartment. It wasn't very big, but it was unreasonably heavy. Annabeth was no stick and had years of solid muscle. However, the only way she could move this without someone else was by pushing, which scraped up the bottom.

Thankfully, a fluffy black head came trundling out of the building. "Good, you're here," Annabeth said. "Now take this en-" She stopped.

Percy was standing on the street in swim trunks, flipflops, and- "Is that my shirt?" He was standing there in the ridiculous sparkly crop top Piper had gotten her as a joke. It was cutting into his wide shoulders and he had a sparkle on his nose from where he pulled it over his head.

He grinned and leaned an elbow on the dresser. "You said just to throw anything on." And suddenly all the stress of uprooting herself and hosting her friends and planning a wedding lifted. Annabeth just laughed and punched him playfully on the chest.

"Seaweed Brain I meant like a t-shirt or something! Not-" she gestured to him. "this!"

Percy bent down and grabbed the end of the dresser. "Well we can stay out here so everyone can see me in all my fabulousness, or we could get this up to the Jackson household."

A giddy feeling swept through Annabeth. The Jacksons. She pulled out her modified cellphone and clicked open the camera. "Say moving day!"

He stuck his hips out and flipped his hair. "Moving day!"
