"I legit hate you," Annabeth says while scowling at Piper. Her wonderful friend had signed her up for a ballroom dancing class down the street. She had considered it but decided to do another style until Piper got wind of it.

"Aw come on you know it's for the best! If your going to go to a college for dance you have to take a ballroom class," Piper sashayed across the room and popped her gum. "And there have to be some cute guys there,"

There was no way in Hades Annabeth was looking for a boy right now. She had just gotten over a tough breakup with a guy named Luke. She did not need any extra pressure with applications to fill out and tryouts to go to.

Hazel finally looked up from her book. "Annabeth, I'll admit, I think Piper has a point. It's a great school to take at, you have to take a style other than hip hop and it may do you good to go and meet some new people,"

The blond gave her a scandalized look. "You of all people would want me to go and flirt with random dudes,"

Hazel's dark skin flushed. "That's not what I-"

"Who cares!!!," Piper groaned and dramatically flopped onto the sofa. "The deposit is already paid so unless you want to waste 500 dollars you'll go,"

Annabeth scowl grew deeper. Piper had a knack for getting what she wanted and this was no exception. "I'll go to the first class and if it sucks I'm dropping out, deposit or not,"

                                                       .....................................................................

"Bros look what I just signed up to do!" Percy hollered to Jason, Leo, Frank, and Grover. Leo poked his head around the corner from the kitchen, Jason came skidding in from the den, Frank stumbled out from the study, and Grover was standing there smirking.

They all huddled around the computer in confusion. "Bro, is that what I think that is?" Jason asked.

"You know it! A ballroom class three times a week for two months," he said and spun around in the chair to face them. "Now I know what your thinking 'Why would Percy do that??' but I want you to see two things,"

He grabbed the mouse and scrolled to the class gallery where rows of pictures of dancing girls were featured. "That's one,"

He scrolled to the ballroom class and clicked on competitions and Frank gasped. "Dude, that's a lot of money,"

Percy smirked and stood up. "I know. The first place prize is a thousand dollars. I've just gotta dance my heart out and BOOM we're rich!" He swiveled his hips in a mock dance move and almost knocked a vase off a table.

Everyone began to get excited and chattered about what they would do with the money. But Grover put the celebrations to a halt when he yelped "Wait!"

Percy froze mid-turn and slid over to the computer where it was set to the rules, terms, and conditions page. "What is it?"

Grover furrowed his brow and sighed. "You can't go. It says you have to have a partner,"

"No problemo mi amigo! I'm sure the girls will be falling over themselves trying to dance with me!"

                                                             ................................................

As it turns out, the girls were not falling over themselves or even so much as glancing his way. They all came with partners and were focused on completing the course. Percy sulked in the corner of the studio and looked around for anyone who wasn't already paired up and ohmygods-. A freaking angel had walked in...and she didn't have a partner.
