"Stay still," I whispered to BD-1 as I strode through the First Order hangar, the hood of my 'Sith' attire lifted to hide the droid's body. Going back to retrieve him from Ben's quarters was risky; I had no idea how long he would stay unconscious and the Stormtrooper ratio to myself was too big. I only hoped Rey would find a way out safely. Considering that she offered me a way off the ship, that meant she had one of her own... who knows where. "Stay very still."

A Stormtrooper gave me a sideways glance as I made my way past his squadron, and I quickly gave him a glare. He quickly looked forward, straightening his posture. I realized I had been holding my breath anxiously and let it out quietly, returning my focus to the X-Wing just thirty feet in front of me. So close, yet so far.

"You," I pointed my finger to who I presumed to be a young First Order cadet, his light grey uniform cleaner than those who had held roles in the First Order longer. The boy's face immediately drained of color as I called him over. "Why is my ship not prepared?"

"Sorry- um, we... we were told to leave it locked and under constant supervision," he scrambled for words, his pale blue eyes trying to look anywhere but my own. "Orders from the Supreme Leader I think- I'm just going off of what my superiors told me if there was a new order I can go check-"

"Just get some fuel in it," I snapped, and he quickly ran off. BD snickered from his hiding spot. "Oh, shush." I quickly hoisted myself up into the X-Wing's cockpit and ducked my lower half down for a moment so the droid could jump off my shoulder before sliding in.  Lowering my hood, I replaced my head covering with the X-Wing's helmet and set to work on getting it alive. "Okay, let's hurry. I'd prefer us off this ship before they know-"

"Stop!" I jerked my head up to see the cadet from before with who I assumed his superior and a growing group of Stormtroopers behind them. I lifted my hands slowly in surrender, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw BD-1 quickly move to finish my work unnoticed. "Get out of the rebel craft or we will open fire!"

"I think this was a big misunderstanding!" I shouted back, my heart beating as I watched my droid trip over a wire in panic. He needed more time. "I was told I had access. Is this the wrong ship?"

"I'm giving you to the count of three!" the cadet's superior yelled, a few strands of his dark hair fell out of place from under his cap. "One!" The X-Wing's engine was sputtering, almost completely alive, and the Stormtroopers tightened their grip on their blasters. "Two!"

"How we doing, Bee?" I whispered down to the bipedal droid, my hands still raised. BD chirped back at me nervously. "Okay... hang on to something."

"Three!" the man finally shouted, and I curled the upper points of my finger, using the Force to push my opponents backward. The momentum sent the X-Wing in the opposite direction, sliding the covering back over us, and I quickly finished Bee's work. The ship came alive the moment we passed through the passive energy field and into space, and my hands went to the yoke.
