Chapter 4

"JK, is everything okay?" Erin asks as he approaches JK's bed. JK doesn't answer and just cries. Erin pats his back and comes to the conclusion that JK is finally remembering what happened to him. Erin leaves out of the room to contact Lisa. JK had managed to drape his robe around him and is in a fetal position on his bed.

"JK, I'm here. Talk to me." Lisa climbs over in the bed with JK. "Lisa, the scars, that day, it's coming back to me, All of it."   "JK, you tried to block it. But I knew one day it will come back to you. You have to talk with a psychiatrist. This is too much for you to hold in, too much to handle on your own. You know I will help you with anything, but I must admit that I know it is going to be too much for me to hear the things that son of a bitch did to you. My heart dread hearing about what happened to you, and I try to hide from any discussion about it, but for the sake of you, I'm willing to attend the meeting with you if you need me too."

"I can't talk about it to anyone right now. I'm not ready. Lisa, please just let me be right now." "Okay JK, but I'll be downstairs with Erin, if you need me." "Thanks Lisa." Lisa leaves out of JK's room and goes downstairs to talks to Erin. "Thank you for calling me Erin. I'm glad JK has people like you as a close friend, well you're more like family."   "I hate seeing him like this Lisa."     "Me too Erin. But what he needs right now is for us to remind him of the calm part of his life but with all that he has been through, I'm am hoping that there is a calmness that can take precedence in his life right now" "I just want to help him in any way that I can. Just let me know what you want me to do." Erin states looking at Lisa with sincerity. "Thanks Erin."

After a while, JK comes downstairs and Joins Lisa and Erin. He sits on the couch and grabs a pillow. "Lisa, I know I need help. I can't get through this alone. I will see a psychiatrist if it will help me." "I told you JK, I would go with you if you need me too." "Thanks Lisa but I must do this on my own. I can't have you carrying such a heavy burden. The things I will discuss will be too much for you to handle especially when you are pregnant. It wouldn't be good for you mentally, physically, or emotionally. Just let me do this Okay. I know you two want to see me through this, just being here for me is enough."

Lisa runs her hand through JK's hair and starts to cry. I'm sorry JK."   "I'm also here for you JK." Erin says while handing JK some water. Lisa stays for a little while to help JK contact a psychiatrist she knew from school that had recently moved back to Seoul.  Afterwards she leaves and JK goes back to his room and phones Yoongi.

"Mr. Jeon." Yoongi says while answering his phone. "Yoongi. Thank you for all you went through to help me obtain personal information on Mr. Yung." "It wasn't a problem. I am happy to assist you."    "Well, right now, I don't have clarity on what I need to do. I am going to suspend the task I've requested of you. When I clear things up, I will contact you then."    "Okay Mr. Jeon. See you around and whatever it is I hope it works in your favor."     "Thank You. Yoongi. See you later."

JK hangs up the phone and lies across the bed. He hears Tae, Rosé, and Erin downstairs. He gets up and Joins them. He and Tae embrace. it was a hug he never knew he needed from Tae. "Hey Rosé, how is it going with the little one and you?" JK asks looking at her stomach. "For me to be only 2 months, the morning sickness is showing more than my stomach but other than that we are fine." "I can't wait to meet him and her." JK says gesturing to Tae then to Rosé for permission to pat Rosé's stomach. JK pats her stomach and they laugh. "I made lunch for us, but I need to finish one dish, mind if I use your kitchen?"   "Rosé, my kitchen is your kitchen."   "Thanks. it shouldn't take long."

"I told you man; you must be special. It has been a long time since she cooked anything." They both laugh and sit on the couch. "I've decided to see a psychiatrist." Tae nods at JK's statement. "Lisa made you promise huh?" "No. actually this is my doing Tae. I really need help with this." "Sorry JK for my joke about Lisa making you do this." "No, it's okay, Lisa did help me find a psychiatrist though."
