Lylia blinked sleepily and looked around to see Harley's worried face hovering above her. "Argh! Harley, what happened? Where's that-that thing?"

Harley stared at her in concern. "Well, I sealed it away in a Cyclops container. Are you okay? You fainted yesterday, and I carried you back to your dormitory."

Lylia's face coloured as she imagined Harley carrying her limp body to her bed. "Yeah, I'm-I'm fine. We should go back to the lab now. I have to see what I summoned."

"Are you sure? Don't faint on me again, okay? I was really worried!" Harley said, blushing gently. Lylia smiled and got up, dragging a protesting Harley off to the laboratory.

True enough, the demon-like alien was safely sealed away in the Cyclops container. Lylia got up close to examine it. The alien looked like a furry, eyeless bat, with large wings and ears. "Careful, Lylia. This thing is from another dimension, probably. We have no idea what it can do."

In contrast, Lylia was beaming as she observed the little creature. "Harley, it's so cute! Can we keep it, please?" she begged, widening her eyes like a puppy.

Harley rolled his eyes. "Lylia, you can't be serious! We have no knowledge about this thing. It could be dangerous." But his heart melted at the sight of Lylia's puppy-eyes. "Okay, fine! You win. But you better be the one taking care of it."

"Yay! Thanks, Harley." Lylia paused. Should she? Well, she was grateful to Harley for letting her keep the alien. He had enough magic power to stop her. Lylia closed her eyes and flickered forward, giving Harley a peck on the cheek. She laughed as she watched Harley turn as red as a tomato, leaving the lab with her new, albeit caged, friend.
